Holiday rentals with lake access in Transdanubia

Marcus communicates super quickly and is easily accessible! The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is super equipped! We'd love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Eva’s place with our family! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces. The kids absolutely loved the selection of toys, which kept them entertained throughout our stay, and the big garden was a perfect spot for them to run around and enjoy the outdoors. The location was fantastic as well—everything we needed was close by, from shops to parks, making it super convenient for our family. Eva was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with kids or looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway.

Wonderful experience. We stayed from 12/30 to 1/3. The house is in a place surrounded by greenery, in tranquility and a short walk from Trakoscan Castle (which can be seen from the garden). Everything is perfectly cared for, nothing is left to chance. We experienced “movie” evenings: fireplace, unique cabin atmosphere, dinners with family and friends, private spa. Only the snow was missing, otherwise really unforgettable moments. Toni and her daughter were always super available, even when we arrived late in the evening. They managed to find us a restaurant for dinner in no time. What can I say… I'd love to come back as soon as possible!

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

We were warmly welcomed and were even allowed to taste fruit and vegetables fresh from the garden. A very nice little house, we felt very comfortable and will certainly recommend the place

We had a great week in Purbach over New Year's! The AirBnB was as described and perfectly equipped for 4 people! Communication also worked perfectly! We were particularly impressed by the location: Right on the lake, but also very close to Bratislava and Vienna! Thanks for a great stay :)

Very good conditions and easy checkin.

We stayed 3rd for 9 nights at the property. The images match the property very well. Everything is clean and well maintained. The location is pleasantly quiet and also the private parking right in front of the house is also very convenient. Within walking distance are some good restaurants (American, Japanese, Italian, Croatian, etc.). The internet is also very good and the TV is equipped with all kinds of streaming platforms and connections. The kitchen is also well equipped and well maintained. We felt very comfortable the entire time and the host was always very quick to reach. Clear booking recommendation!

We spent a very relaxing week in the apartment, which is attached to a hotel. The decor is new and very functional. The kitchen was suitable for preparing small meals. The location of the small apartment is ideal and the receipt of the castle map on the day of arrival is free or discounted. All in all, we return home refreshed. Thank you for the hospitality.

A beautiful house and a great property, perfect for the family or even two with toddler, the gravel path to the house and the stairs in the house are a bit adventurous, and also a few MarienKäfer are part of it in the countryside, but you get used to it :) With toddlers, I recommend child safety, but also worked out well without it. A beautiful place in the middle of nothing to unwind, yet you are quickly in the city and nearby there are many shopping opportunities and much to marvel at. The hot tub was amazing, of course. The hostess described everything exactly and very kindly, so no questions were open. We had a very nice time and would come back:)

Adam’s place is a perfect getaway for couples in a really nice and peaceful surrounding.

The apartment has a great location: quiet on a lake with beautiful views of the lake from the living room/kitchen and from the large balcony. You can be in downtown within about 30-40 minutes by car. A great choice if you are looking for peace and quiet after a day of adventuring. Hosts are very friendly. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and practically furnished. I found the bed comfortable. I will be very happy to come back when I am in Budapest.
