Family-friendly holiday rentals in Trapani

Alessandro was a great host. He met us on arrival and provided some very useful local information and helped out with questions during our stay. The property was very clean and comfortable. The development was great and the pool even better. Never stayed somewhere with such a large pool! As many of the properties appeared to be private holiday homes, it was very quiet but no worse for that. Being a bit out of town, a car is essential but there are plenty of options for beach and shopping within 15 minutes. A great place to unwind and relax.

We had a great time. Andrea and his wife are very charming and very welcoming. Always attentive. The accommodation and its surroundings are very nice, comfortable and fresh. We did not test the pool as we prefer the sea which is walkable in 2 minutes! I recommend this very quiet little corner!!!

a pretty Sicilian house full of charm with a beautiful garden and a beautiful view of the olive trees, the mountain and the sea. the house is close to the Zingaro and Segestra reserve. Lucietta was very available and flexible. we had a great time in this place that we recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Lucia. Everything was perfect other than we wished we could have stayed longer. The view was spectacular and the Villa itself met all of our needs. The small house in the back was perfect for our daughter and her boyfriend. We also had a blast making pizzas using the pizza oven on site. We look forward to coming back.

Giacoma & Carlo were both helpful and communicative. We were welcomed in person and were pleased with the basketful of essentials that had been left for us. We were all sad to have to leave after an all-too-short week at their lovely villa!

I recommend it… everything is perfect. A house where everything has been thought out in every detail for the well-being of the hosts . The air conditioning comfort for beds , spacious bedrooms and their bathrooms ... a very spacious kitchen... and everything is in impeccable condition... a terrace with a view of 390 degrees a quiet environment. An awesome heated pool. In short, don't hesitate. David is very responsive if you write to him. Thank you so much for your welcome.

Caterina was the perfect host! Even before our trip, Caterina sent a wealth of information on things to see and do, and on restaurants to try. She was very welcoming and she was immediately available for any questions we had during the stay. My family arrived before I did and they were greeted with lovely local baked goods, wine and Prosecco and special treats for my grandsons. The house is located in a great part of Sicily with close access to Trapani for restaurants and to the amazing hillside town of Erice (a great place from which to watch the sunset). The salt flats are also close by and we found a really cool abandoned Tuna fishery building that was in operation from the 16th century until the 1960's. The nearby beach and the coastline with tidal pools and rocks was the perfect playground for my grandsons. I can't say enough about the wonderful experience we had and how Caterina went above and beyond to insure we had the perfect stay!

Rosanna’s house and location was incredible. The photos actually do not do the house and setting justice. The outdoors spaces and pool are gorgeous and just what we had hoped for, for a relaxing vacation with children and extended family. The pool was amazing, the gardens beautiful and the a/c ran cold in the downstairs living area and upstairs hallway. The location is amazing- walking distance to a beautiful beach and a short drive from both Castellammare del golfo and Scopello. The only issues we had were with the heat at night in the upstairs bedrooms (the downstairs one had a ceiling fan which made the room really comfortable). I mentioned this to Rosanna and she was very open to feedback. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive to everything. There was a blackout when we were there at 3 am and we had to call them to help open the gate so that my brother could catch his early morning flight out of Palermo. Fulvio was at the house within 20 minutes to help us at 3:30 am!

A lovely house with a pretty garden in a small private estate away from the hustle of the town. It suited us perfectly for a visit to San Vito, its beaches and the beautiful Zingaro nature reserve. Quiet and peaceful and so relaxing. The outside kitchen was something new for me - but lots of space and fun. The outside shower, exposed to the fields, cows, hills and sunset is glorious. Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. At first we felt the bed was a bit on the hard side. But it was comfortable and we slept exceedingly well. We feel privileged to have been allowed to stay.

Lucia's apartment perfectly reflects the photos and description. It has a very special style, elegant and modern but above all very spacious and very clean !!!! It was like feeling at home with all the comforts that Lucia offers. The location of the apartment is strategic, it is located in the heart of Trapani, among the quiet alleys but a 3-minute walk from the main street and the port. Lucia is an exceptional host, helpful and timely in responding and providing information. We are very satisfied with our experience !!!

We had a great stay. Our host was helpful and quick to attend to our needs. The house itself was brilliant, great location next to the beach and a short walk into town. Would recommend and would return.

This was truly one the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and we’ve had some great ones. Cynthia was able to be both extremely kind and helpful while also being totally unobtrusive. Her home is even better than the photos and she has actually thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We loved it and hope to return!

Very nice house and extremely well equipped. The owner has thought of everything down to the last detail. That's perfect all the way. The garden and olive grove bring a lot of charm to the outside.

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

We could not have chosen a better place to be. Favignana is stunning and the people are so kind and friendly…. With great sense of humour. Mara is the perfect hostess …. The stay at Evanthe Garden was amazing!! The apartment, the garden & the pool area are a dream. The owners live in the apartment on the opposite side what we highly appreciated since they helped and supported us with everything we needed. Giovanni and Paula are absolutely lovely hosts. We will definitely come back!

Villa was clean and tidy, and matched the description on the AirBNB website. It had all the facilities we needed for our stay. It had a modern contemporary feel, yet was comfortable and homely. There is a great view of the coast line from the first floor balcony. Our host, Tommaso was friendly and responsive. He was kind enough to bring us pastries on our first morning, biscuits when we checked out, and a lovely ice cream cake when he needed to visit during our stay. The Villa is located in a rural setting and a car is a must. It is situated about 20ish miles/30 minutes east of Palermo Airport. There is a fantastic beach about 5 minutes walk. The nearest town is about 6 miles away and has a good variety of restaurants and shops.

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday at Federica’s lovely house. The pool and view are amazing. There is a lovely bakery over the road which serves great pizza in the evening. Fabulous beaches are only 10 minutes drive and lovely restaurants in Castellammare are only 10-15 minutes drive away. Frederica and her family were very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

We ate often at the house. It was nice to eat outside in November. Some of the kitchen appliances should be updated, for example the coffee maker and the water heater needed to be descaled. The kitchen knives needed sharpening. The waste sorting was also a little confusing, but we got the hang of it. Other than that, the house was really nice. The view is excellent and the area is really quite and beautiful.

Emilia and Giovanni were so friendly and helpful, especially when we had an accident in our hire car, so helpful more than you could expect is taking us to the hire place to get another car . Lots of interesting discussions and really more like staying with friends, such a lovely couple.

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

A lovely week in a cozy and peaceful house. The view from the terrace is incredibly beautiful, and the place was also a good fit for the kids, as there was nice space around the house and toys that covered the need for our 3 grandchildren ( 3 to 8 years). The pool was nice and a little chilly ( the sun didn't heat that much). Only criticism is the height of the kitchen counter, and a lack of hot water on the first floor. But then we just bathed in one of the other bathrooms.
