Yes, you can see the northen ligths, but thats mostly up to weather and luck anyway. In winter, elks may be eating from garden trees, mostly at dusk or dawn. Two extra beds can be supplied, six persons can comfortably live in this large house. This is a home, not a hotel. Please leave it as you found it, clean. Please read the extra house rules first!

This charming house is 2.5 km from Piteå sea bath. Access to beach and small boat and jetty. Bicycles are available to borrow. Nice forest trails and bike paths. Large country kitchen with sofa bed for 2 people. Living room with sofa bed and day bed. 2 rooms on the upper floor. Two bedrooms with double bed and combined office and bedroom with nice views. Friluftshuset at Snöberget is located at the foot of the Snöberget Nature Reserve and right by the Råneå River. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Lapland landscape just outside the house, while also having easy access to activities such as hiking, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and swimming in the summer. This house is also perfect for viewing the northern lights. In addition, we have a very nice barbecue area in the yard, which guests are more than welcome to use.
