Where do I start! This property is STUNNING! My daughter and I have just spent the most relaxing, peaceful 4 days away. On arrival Claire dopped by to make sure we had everything we needed and gave a little tour of the property. She provided a lot information.On her suggestion, we took hike , WHAT VIEWS! She also suggested a local swimming hole and provided directions. My daughter hand fed some of the free roaming cows, there is a resident Wallaby family, Mumma and Joey on the lawn most mornings. Kookaburra's, possums. Cyclone Alfred had us rescheduling for the week following our initial booking, this wasn't a problem and was catered to by Claire. On leaving we were met by Clair and Hayley, SUCH LOVELY LADIES! We could have stayed and chatted to them all day. From start to finish this booking has been excellent. The Homestead is gorgeous and veeery spacious. A MASSIVE Thank you to Claire and Hayley, wonderful hosts and such lovely people. WE WILL DEFINATELY be back!

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Bodhi Bungalow and only wish it was longer so we could have taken advantage of the outdoor fire pit and yoga classes, not to mention all the beautiful surrounds and cafes. We loved that this airbnb was only a 5 minute drive to Broken Head beach and Suffolk Park, and only slightly further to Bangalow and Byron. Or….you can just stay in and enjoy the amazing gardens and bath on the deck! Will definitely be back as the hospitality, venue and location were superb. Thank you Susan!

Gorgeous house and location. Some friends and I celebrated my birthday for the weekend away from the city for some peace and quiet and we're not disappointed. The views and atmosphere were immaculate to say the least. Very clean and spacious house overlooking a small valley. Would love to return some time.

We stayed at Laurie’s place for our wedding and it was exactly what we needed! Beautiful house, gardens and surroundings. We were able to spend the morning getting ready with our wedding party, hair and makeup artists and photographers. Laurie was extremely accommodating and helpful with anything we needed from him. We even had our first look and private vows in the front garden, and it was perfect!

10/10 will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay. Sue was responsive and incredibly helpful and it was lovely to meet her and the family on our ride (we got to tag along the muster) The property is really well set out to accommodate horses and dogs for your holiday. On Sue‘s recommendation, we took a nice ride down to the river and stopped for morning tea. The home is comfortable with beautiful views down to the Albert River and over the valley. Highly recommended staying here !

Beautiful location, cute house. The house itself is nothing fancy but its very cute and the location makes this house a really special place.

I echo the past reviews of Spurfield Barn when I say Kim has created a beautiful and cozy space! We absolutely loved our stay and felt right at home. The little touches like homemade sourdough and fresh flowers, made this stay even more inviting. The area is very peaceful and just a quick 5 min drive to the Eltham Hotel, which has the best Chicken Parmy I’ve ever had. It’s also about a 35 min drive to Byron Bay and surrounds. The amenities are clean and the kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook. The gardens are gorgeous as well! We hope to return soon and I encourage anyone looking for a little country escape to book a stay at Spurfield Barn! 😊

Firefly was even better than we thought it was going to be. Complete privacy, awesome accommodations and everything we needed for a peaceful getaway and Wayne & Jodie were lovely hosts. We will definitely return.

One of the best equipped airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at - everything is thought of for guests with easy checkin and heaps of privacy (except from the cows!). The yard was great for our two cavoodles! Thanks Libby

Highly recommend if you want have a peaceful private get away

We had a great week in the cottage. The cottage itself is cozy and has everything you need. The barbeque on the veranda was a big plus, and the views are beautiful. The location suited us perfectly, close to the towns yet still quiet on the countryside. No complaints at all, communication with Fay and Mishka was easy and helpful. Would highly recommend this cottage to people looking for a comfortable stay outside the towns.

We loved our stay with Colette and Martin for a relaxing break away from the city. We adored all the animals on the property who each have such funny personalities. Our highlights were feeding time, and having a beer in the afternoon with the baby goats who always appreciated company and climb all over you. The house has all the amenities we needed for a couple and a dog, and is well designed while paying tribute to the history of the old Dairy. It has beautiful views, and you can also walk down to the private creek for a swim which is really nice on a hot afternoon. The property is pet friendly and our dog loved having so much space to explore (noting you should keep the dog on a lead because it is still a farm with the usual hazards). The location is out of the way, but still close enough to Byron and several small towns for day trips. Colette and Martin are lovely people and went out of their way to take care of us. We would come back in a heartbeat

Lovely stay! Matt and yaz were very kind. Beautiful property and the creek was lovely. Space was clean but a little run down from use—didn’t bother us. Just don’t expect it to be a brand new trailer and expect a more vintage vibe. Shower and bathroom was amazing.

Friendly hosts, very welcoming, made sure that we had a relaxing stay. We’re looking go back again for a longer stay.

Jess is such a kind and helpful host. We needed emergency accommodation on short notice and she made it very easy. The home is stunning and VERY family friendly. We felt comfortable having our children and dogs with us. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was amazing however we just found it would’ve been nice to have just a few of the staples, salt, pepper, coffee pods as the machine was provided just no pods. Oh also no cloths or spray and wipe or no vacuum either. But otherwise we loved the place and would definitely book again!

Absolutely fabulous stay! Kids didn't want to leave as they enjoyed hours of entertainment with the chickens, horses, watching cows, rolling in the hammock, camp fire. No ask for an iPad. Comfortable beds, kitchen has everything we needed and more. Lovely organic coffee and freshly laid eggs. My kids still talk about the eggs from the hens! We brought our kitten with us and she too enjoyed the trip. Highly recommend!

Stunning countryside. Really good kitchen for our big group who all like to cook! Host was friendly, flexible and accommodating. Space was great for what we were after. Easy going vibes and we all fell in love with muddles the dog. Cheers

Trisha’s house is the most amazing farm stay you can imagine. A true hidden gem in a convenient location handy to Kingscliff and all that with an abundance of fresh local produce at your doorstep. Trisha is truly a superstar host. The property is beautifully maintained and private. The gardens are gorgeous and there is even an outside bath under the frangipani tree. What a delicious delight. Book now! You will be glad you did.

What an incredible property! It far exceeded our expectations and is so much better than the photos depicted. The pool/spa/sauna area was phenomenal. No cost has been spared or small detail overlooked in the construction of this property. It had every amenity, cooking equipment/utensils that you would ever need - we loved all hanging out in the kitchen and cooking together. Super lovely and helpful hosts. We found the property easy to find and get to. This place would be absolutely amazing in the cooler weather. We did find it quite difficult to sleep in the middle of the summer heat, however. Fans in the bedrooms would be a much needed addition - but that’s literally the only thing we could fault, everything else was incredible and we’d love to return!

If you’re looking for a place to escape the city away from people but close to the beach, this is the spot. Stunning acreage, so serene. We sat under a shady tree with a picnic blanket, speaker, drinks and nibbles while our dog roamed freely in front of us. A perfect way to relax.

We HIGHLY recommend this fabulous home. Stunning setting and charming owners and caretakers. Heavenly setting with so many details and trimmings. We had to bolt in front of a cyclone 24 hours early and they even gave us a full refund for the cancelled day. A MUST visit place!
