Welcome to Trondsvollen. Here we rent out the old cabin on the farm for accommodation. The farm has a history dating back to the 17th century. Gammlstuggu has recently been completely restored to preserve the old character from when the house was new. The log cabin is clad from the outside, but on the second floor the old log walls in some of the bedrooms are as they once were. Gammelstuggu takes you back in time while at the same time having access to today's facilities.

From Ålen it is 33 km to Røros, 12 km to Hessdalen and 120 km to Trondheim. Røros is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Hessdalen is known for the "Hessdalen Phenomenon".
