Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Mountains right behind the house with several hiking opportunities, and the sea below. In summer, a sup board can be borrowed by agreement. The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 kitty cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, approx. 35 min by car. Can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 min. Time

Amazing views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator and dining area with a fjord view. Out on the balcony you can enjoy panoramic fjord views and listen to the wind or the birds. Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
