Holiday rentals with a patio in Tywyn

The stay was wonderful, but such a shame there isn't an effective public transport option for getting to the village. So it was useful having been forewarned that there was no designated parking space with the accommodation so to allow time to find a nearby space or go to the free car park at the top part of the village.

Amazing location for lots of walks. We did Cadair Idris, Cregennan lakes and Mawddach trail which were all really close by. Lots of choice of places to eat within a short distance. The property was really lovely inside and spotless! Definitely recommend staying here!

When we arrived we were excited by the facilities and what the place had to offer. We had great fun playing pool and table tennis in the pub below the flat, and it was cool to hang out down there in the evenings. My little boy loved the horses and sheep in the field next to the outdoor area, which was also a great sun trap. The flat was a really lovely space and we also enjoyed the selection of board games provided. The hosts were very proactive and sent instructions and a welcome pack before we arrived with lots of great suggestions. We have already recommended the place to friends and didn't want to come home. We came to do some walking in Snowden and it was a great base to do that.

We have rarely felt such a sense of luxury and space in an AirBnB stay. It is an interesting mix; modern fixtures and appliances in an old building. The waterfront location made for great walking opportunities right out the front door. Sarah provided a lot of information about the unit and responded quickly to questions. The heating controls may be too sophisticated for their own good, or maybe I am too simple for my own good. I am happy with a thermostat that merely turns up or down. Happily, Sarah can mange the system remotely and you might do well to let her do so. We had a great stay and appreciate the effort Sarah has put into creating such a welcoming and comfortable setting.

Lovely place to stay next to a very interesting rural pub with friendly clientele and food! I thought the hosts were very responsive, generous and thoughtful and would recommend it to anyone.

If this place is available, book it! It’s a gem. We travelled with 3 kids and did cook and the kitchen was so well equipped. The beds are comfortable and showers were great with plenty of hot water for 8 people. The dining table sat 8 which you don’t always get in airbnbs which sleep 8! Living room was vey comfortable. There’s a little shop opposite which sells mils and bread etc. We ate in the pub one night and food was exceptional. It’s about a 50 minute drive from Snowdon railway and 20 minutes from betws y coed. I would recommend Maria’s place without hesitation and will be back :)

Maerina's place was ideal right in the middle of Aber town and close to the sea. Maerina works in the shop beneath the flat and was available for local recommendations and to respond to any issues had there been any, she was a great host, she had left bread and milk for us. Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

What a fantastic place! Ged and Elka are incredibly thoughtful and kind hosts. We felt at home immediately. Everything is very thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking whatever you might like. They even keep the knives sharp! Beautiful walks from the front door. The beds are comfortable and it’s very dog friendly. They provided a blanket, dog towel, and bowls. They even had a welcome pack for us and our dog. If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would!

A really lovely Airbnb. Beautifully refurbished, very well furnished, very clean, well appointed and with everything you could want for a very pleasant and relaxing break. The whole family were very happy and pleased with everything. Communication with Stuart was excellent and he was very quick and responsive to any queries. The area is really lovely and there was plenty to do to entertain the whole family. Shops, take aways and pubs very close by. We all had a really enjoyable time. Thank you so much for hosting us.

What an amazing time we had at Chapel Cottage. The directions and instructions provided by Katrina brought us right to the location and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was pristine with clean towels provided. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cutlery and utensils you could need. We loved it as soon as we walked in as we loved the charm and the rustic nature of how its been restored. The closest town Llanfyllin has a Spar but also a lovely Fish and Chip shop and Chinese which we used on our stay which we recommend also. After a long day hiking the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall it was amazing to relax in the hot tub with a few glasses of wine. The sky was clear and with it being a dark sky area, the amount of stars we could see was unbelievable. The beds are also the comfiest weve ever slept on so each night we were so rested. We are already planning a visit for next year. Thank you.

We enjoyed 3 lovely relaxing days in Sonia & Bens cottage. It was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful attention to detail, everything we needed was there. Sonia was very responsive when and allowed us a slightly later check out on our request. The hot tub and wood burner was perfect for relaxing, the area is beautiful. Thankyou Sonia for sharing your beautiful space with us and giving us the opportunity to be together as a family. Highly recommend to all ☺️

Karen was extremely helpful when planning our trip. I messaged Karen several times asking for advice on routes and the location, she was very responsive and knowledgeable. It made our first climb up snowdon very simple to organise.

We had the perfect holiday. Great location in the centre of Beddgelert. Surrounding area is beautiful with lots of scenic walks on the doorstep. Lovely home with everything we needed for our stay. John is a great host and we will be returning in the future.

Geoffrey was a great host and very helpful and flexible. The apartment is spotlessly clean, in a great location and central to everything. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Barmouth. We had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at the Annex. Naomi was the perfect host, proactive and helpful. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a long, peaceful weekend. It's a short walk to the beach (althought the walk back up the hill is steep so pace yourself!). Gorgeous town and beaches, the fish and chips shop, and Chinese takeaway were both great! Plenty of lovely walks nearby too. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

This is the second time we have stayed with Chris and Julie and we already have plans for next year. Chris and Julie make you feel so at home, they go out of their way to make sure that your stay is wonderful….they are just beautiful human beings who share their wonderful space with you. Nothing is too much trouble and you just feel like part of the family. Thank you for another wonderful stay (and your offer of a rescue, beers and a hand with luggage) and we will see you next year

We had a wonderful time in this accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for a getaway, we loved the shower and the bed, super comfortable!!! Rosemarys place was well equipped, with all the basics it was lovely to have coffee and milk (we thought the dog treats was an amazing thoughtful touch!). Rosemary was very proactive and gave us loads of parking recommendations. We really loved our stay and would come again!

The apartment was clean, warm, easy to find and Homly. It was nice and spacious for the dog and had all the amenities required to cook. The location was very peaceful and walking distances from the shops and resturants/takeaways.

Amazing stay and brilliant recommendations about local things to do and places to eat. We visited "The Last Inn" which was recommended and was brilliant food. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay in Barmouth close to town with a nice walk through the park. Met some lovely people at the communal garden. Very secure parking next to property. So quite at night. Woke up to the birds singing. Comfy bed Ideal for the Park run on the front 20min walk to start. Milk,and little gifts most appreciated after a long journey. Thanks for a great stay 👍

I can't say enough about this stay. Yes, it was exactly as described, beautiful and overlooking the water. Yes, the location was perfect and walkable to everything. But what really stood out was the unbelievable responsiveness and kindness of the host, Nia. When due to my own failings I couldn't figure out the lock box, one message and they were down to help me in and even carry my luggage up within 10 minutes. When I had a confusion about dates, again through my own scattered brain, they were incredibly kind and helpful. In the system where so many airbnb's are more of a corporate and business nature, it was wonderful to have the personal touch. If I ever need an Airbnb in Aber again, this is the only one for me. I wish I could give it more than five stars.
