We hope everyone feels comfortable in our vacation home. It is a very complete house of about 100 m2. Uitgeest is very centrally located. Easy to reach via A9 and the train. The cities Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within half an hour's drive. The beach is 8 km away. Pets are welcome in consultation.

De snelweg A9 is goed bereikbaar dus u bent zo in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem of op Schiphol. Ook het strand van Castricum is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

This unique accommodation has its own style. It is an old beach house that has become a beautiful contemporary cottage, with fantastic views over the meadows. From your bed, you can look through the French doors to the meadows and enjoy the morning sun. At the front, you can see the "Stelling van Amsterdam" and over the meadows. From the terrace, you can enjoy the sunset. Really a beautiful place.
