Lovely stay with a kind and responsive host in a great location. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. It was stunning. Just a heads-up: parking isn’t directly at the Airbnb—you’ll need to use a nearby lot. It was fine for us, but a bit tough for my elderly mother. (Unless you can get the street parking -- we weren't lucky!)

W O W. This may be my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It was immaculate and so cute and cozy. The views were unreal and we loved opening up the little balcony for fresh air. We loved the area of town but we almost wanted to spend all our time relaxing and drinking wine at the Airbnb!

Beautiful apartment with amazing views 10 minutes bus journey from the airport close to store and bus links to and from central Alesund highly recommended and I’ll use again when I come back -Stuart

My stay was 6 weeks and I look back on it positively. It is a place where you can really relax. The place is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The nature and hiking opportunities nearby are fantastic. Solgunn is a very good hostess. Very considerate and very helpful. She gave very good tips and invited me to walks and activities. I can recommend this place to anyone!

A wonderful stay at a beautiful apartment. The views were incredible and the apartment was situated within walking distance of the centre. Conveniently had parking which allowed us to hire a car to explore further afield. Nikolas was very accommodating of the late check in and gave lots of information and instructions. He kindly left the lights on to guide us! Very responsive and proactive in reaching out, couldn’t have asked for any more. I highly recommend Nikolas and the apartment . Thank you again for having us!

What a beautiful house, it is well described in the listing. The garden is beautiful with sea views. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and enjoyed the☀️. The island exudes tranquility, it is wonderful for walking and cycling. We are super excited about this great (quiet) location with fantastic views 😍🥰

We, 2 adults 3 children, felt from the beginning as if we were visiting a friend. Arne and his wife welcomed us and Arne took a lot of time to explain everything to us. The house is huge, very clean and has everything you need, plus a breathtaking view from every room! You can tell that Arne attaches great importance to detail and maintains his house with love. From the house you can hike directly to the bird cliffs - the next highlight. Here, too, we received many useful insider tips. Even those who like to fish are in good hands. There are possibilities just a few minutes away by car. We had our fresh fish every day. From the harbor on Runde, an excursion boat starts which sails around the island, but you need good weather for this. We must particularly emphasize the great care by Arne, who was also immediately available in an emergency situation and lovingly looked after us. We will be back! 🥰

This was the second time in two years we've been here. That's what it says:) The host responds quickly when you have questions and is committed to having the best starting point for guests. The location is in beautiful and quiet surroundings and the house has everything you need. The people you meet are pleasant. Nice view from the living room to the bird mountain. Short drive to the centre of Fosnavåg. Great chance of fish, gutted on the bench on the outdoor area. We also tested out the water park in Fosnavåg, the kids had a great time. Here we find who are from the city, peace of mind and body! Thank you for a great stay, we will probably be back🫡😊

I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding guests at Einar’s property, and they were absolutely mesmerized by the experience. The house itself is beautiful, with every amenity thoughtfully provided for easy access and comfort. The location is simply stunning, offering a peaceful and well-maintained environment that truly enhances the stay. One of the standout features is the convenient access to the ferry terminal that’s just a minute walk away. This made trips to Ålesund quick and enjoyable, with the journey taking only 15-20 minutes. The process of checking in and out was smooth and seamless, which further added to the positive experience. Overall, my guests were very happy with their stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped place to stay with easy access to the city. The Host are very responsive if you need any assistance.

A very convenient location, tons of restaurants n groceries shop nearby. Easy to find a place to park if u have a car. The apartment has a very refreshing view as u can see the sea immediately once u open the door. All the furnitures n facility r in good condition n with a good taste. Elizabeth response very fast to all our senators n small issue about the house. Love the place n will recommend to anyone who are looking for a space for their vacation. Chris

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment! It was spacious, modern and incredibly comfortable. Oda was incredibly friendly and helpful and made sure we were feeling at home from the start. The location was perfect, with a short distance to everything we needed. Highly recommended! 🌟

A great place on a wonderful island. The apartment had everything you need, a comfortable bed in the bedroom, a beautiful spacious living room with a sofa and comfortable and armchairs, a fully equipped kitchen, a stove, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, dishes, pots and pans, a coffee maker and a kettle, and a private bathroom accessible from the hallway. Get in touch with airbnb quickly and efficiently, seamless self check-in. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, all you can hear is sheep and the sound of the sea. The weather wasn't great, it was raining, and it didn't matter, but we didn't mind visiting the pisconura at the top of the hill. From above there are beautiful views of the cliffs and the sea. I'm enchanted by this wild, windy place. There is a bus to the island, but I don't know how often, we came by car. There is one store with basic food products and souvenirs. I'm sorry to leave this place...

We had an excellent experience with Ingvild and Frode’s place! It is spacious, clean, beautiful, and in a great location. Everything you would want to see in Ålesund is within walking distance. We took a fjord cruise and the boarding dock was less than a five-minute walk away. The bus stop for the airport bus is also only minutes away. What I appreciated most, however, was how helpful and kind Ingvild was with recommendations and even reaching out to let us know when northern lights were visible to make sure we didn’t miss them. And it was so nice to have an in-person greeting from Fride at check-in. I highly recommend Ålesund in general and this apartment in particular!
