Amazing nature experiences just outside the cabin door! Here there are possibilities for many fine mountain hikes in marked trails to spectacular views of outer Sunnmøre. Historic Herøy farm is just next door. Here is a short way to the bird mountain Runde. You may also take your family on a trip to Sunnmørsbadet.

Nice and easily accessible hiking opportunities along the road, on the sea and to the mountains. Peaceful and private location. Large farm with good parking. 35 min travel time to Ålesund. 40 min drive to Runde, with a hike or boat trip to the bird mountain. 40min to Sunnmørsalpane, summit tour-eldorado. 1h20min to Airport.

Cottage by the sea

Large and modern cabin, right by the sea in idyllic Tjørvåg. The cabin has large external terraces that are great for barbecue and play. Large salt water jacuzzi. Good fishing and swimming facilities in the sea, as well as comfortable mountains if you want a little trim. It is a short distance to Fosnavåg or Ulsteinvik which has many restaurants and shops. Sunnmørsbadet (water park) is located about 13-14 min drive from the cabin. Rowing boat and fishing equipment available.

Stokksund Vicarage is a locally protected cultural heritage site from 1823 that is located in scenic surroundings halfway between the Norwegian Sea and the fjords. With sea views and a lush garden surrounding the courtyard, the vicarage blends naturally into the landscape and offers experiences both inside and out. Newly renovated and partially refurbished cabin in 2017. Located in beautiful surroundings close to the sea in the sea in Herøy municipality. 15 minutes drive to Fosnavåg and Ulsteinvik. Suggestion for excursions: Herøy Coastal Museum, Fuglefjellet at Runde, Environmental Center at Runde, Sunnmørsbadet. In the same area you will find playground, artificial grass court, tennis court and ball binge.
