Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Modern apartment right in the center

Enjoy an elegant experience at this centrally-located accommodation. Three rooms, two of which are bedrooms with a bathroom in between. The kitchen is connected to the living room and creates social interaction between the spaces. The apartment is furnished with 4 90 cm beds that can easily be pulled apart. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area. There is plenty of storage in each room. The apartment is located on the second floor. Elevator is available. The apartment is directly above a restaurant/nightclub, which means loud noises during opening hours.

Our paradise, a small cottage by the lake Viken Undenäs

Welcome to the Nilsson family's little cottage. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Extra beds are available in the guest house. The lake is visible from the cottage, two swimming areas are within walking distance. Possibility to bring your own boat, launching ramp is in the harbor. Grocery store about 3 km. Many nice and nice excursion destinations in the nearby. Among others, Tiveden National Park, Karlsborg, Töreboda, Göta Kanal. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. The patio is enclosed. 800 meters from the cottage you can see elk at dusk.

Simple accommodation in a beautiful cottage built in 1800, for those who want to escape from stress and amenities for rest and recovery or just want to have an overnight stay on the way. Located along road 202. The cottage is heated so even visits in winter work well. Adequate kitchen with running water, outdoor toilet and outdoor shower. In the living room, there is a fireplace for cozy evenings. Large natural garden with a small babbling brook in the back. Parking. Nice bike/walking paths as well as opportunities for swimming, fishing and boating.

House on the Farm

Here you can experience the silence and take a break from life. Close to nature and swimming. In the house, there is an electric sauna and access to a spa bath outside. At our own lake, you can enjoy a wood-fired sauna and swimming in the lake, why not a trip on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a ride in the surroundings. No smoking indoors in the entire property, smoking outdoors allowed. In winter, we charge a fee of SEK 200 for ice hole making if guests wish to swim in the winter

Newly built luxury beach house (1) in Varamon Motala

Newly built house with absolutely the best location on the Nordic's longest lake beach and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafés and restaurants, it is a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is protected in a bay that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, mini golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are not included, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Hookahs/smoking are not allowed!

This cozy cottage is located in Undenäs, on the edge of a little holiday park. From the house you have a beautiful view of the area and you can walk into the forest for a lovely walk. Do not forget to walk along the viewpoint and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is close to the National Nature Park Tiveden, where you can enjoy beautiful walks. Or visit in Karlsborg the fortress, minigolf, the Göta Canal or Forsvik Bruk where you can see 600 years of Swedish industrial history.

Welcome to Sörgården and our horse farm! Enjoy all four seasons from the top floor, with a stunning view of Lake Bottensjön to the west. This modern house from 2022 offers 45 sqm of living space. The apartment shares the building with two other units. Perfect for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. One bed is a sofa bed, which may not suit two adults. Feel free to book our floating sauna on the lake – 500 SEK per session. Relax and enjoy the unique tranquility by the water!

Granvik

Slappna av i detta bekväma, unika och lugna boende mitt i skogen där ingen biltrafik råder. Här får ni närhet till bad och fiske i ett flertal sjöar. Vitsands och Djäknesundets vackra badplatser ligger 25 respektive 9 km från stugan. Flertalet naturreservat finns runt knuten. Tivedens nationalpark ligger endast 10 km bort. Tiveden bjuder också på vandrings-, rid- och kanotleder. Från Karlsborg kan man ta en tur med kanalbåten på Göta kanal eller besöka Karlsborgs fästning.

Cozy, furnished mill from the early 1800s

Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, induction stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room there is a smart TV. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with Wi-Fi, amplifier, Chromecast, speaker system and projector. The shower is in the basement. The balcony facing the sheep meadow has garden furniture and a spa bath. Wood stove in the kitchen. Sauna is available.

Rågstad guest house

Cozy guest house on the farm. Opposite our inhabited house. Older house that we fixed up, but with its charm. On our farm there are sheep, chickens and our dogs and cats. The location is in the middle of the woods. We are a family who lives full-time on the farm. The farm is located north of the village of Undenäs and south of Tiveden. The house has electric heating and two stoves that you can use. Streaming TV is available.
