“The pictures do not do it justice, the lofty ceilings downstairs and the cosiness of the bedroom upstairs meant that we had the best of both worlds. Special touches like breakfast items, the ability to have a home cooked meal delivered and a wonderful garden to sit in on a balmy evening all made for a truly enjoyable stay.”

“Kate’s place was amazing! From the thoughtful touches of having delicious eggs from her chickens at check in to the beautiful grounds it was all I wanted in a Cotswolds holiday and more! Perfect spot for quick day trips as well as a comfy place to hibernate a bit if that’s what you are looking for. The town is small so it was great to just pop down for a walk when the sun would come out. All around a great time that we will never forget!”

“The Bolt House had everything we needed for a week in the Cotswolds whilst we were visiting my brother in the nearby village of Chedworth. The hosts had left us Prosecco and milk in the fridge which was a lovely surprise after a long journey. There is lots to do in the area. We went walking and cycling as there are some great cycle routes nearby away from the busy main roads with stunning scenery. We also visited Cirencester which is about 15 mins drive away (we cycled) and found several cute little cafes for lunch whilst we were there. We also had a lovely meal at the Wheatsheaf pup just down the road in Northleach and were provided with complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We visited the local bakery for fresh bread in the morning and the little village has everything you need. We will definitely stay at the Bolt House when we visit the Cotswolds again! It’s a great price and perfect for a cosy couples getaway in the countryside.”
