This place is beautiful highly recommend I went away from my 26th birthday and I’m so glad that I picked this place such a calming getaway from 40+ hour work weeks the cabin is immaculate in the woods and extremely beautiful and relaxing. Ksenia is also really nice and super responsive and helpful. we honestly didn’t have to reach out much because she already thought of it all!

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

This was a beautiful cabin! My girlfriend and I stayed here in order to visit Snowshoe mountain. Activities on the mountain ended up being a bust, so we spent a majority of our time at this cabin and it made our trip wonderful. The hot tub is great and the view from the bedroom deck is beautiful. The house was spotless and very cozy. If we ever visit again, we will definitely stay at this cabin!

One of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and the best for the price! Extremely clean and well-stocked kitchen, and i loved the island eating area👌 the hot tub never disappointed (the floor lock for the rear door sticks a little bit but just takes a little jostling to unlock) and the fireplace was more than enough to keep the living room warm despite near freezing temps. We didn't use the game room but it was nice to see a second living area downstairs. Directions to the house were initially a little confusing but once we realized it was a block away from the main road we never got lost again. Can't wait to come back! The cabin was very clean and cozy. The location is about 45 mins from local activities such as smokehole caverns and Audra state park.

If your looking for tranquility, this is the place. Sitting by the fire, listening to the river, provides the peacefulness you are looking for. The host was quick to respond and the listing is as described. Our family enjoyed the private location and time spent together.

We had a great weekend getaway. The weather cleared up and you could see all the mountains in the area. Stunning property and home.

Stacy was very responsive. Her cabins are located near the best restaurant Forks! The sauna located inside the bathroom was enjoyable after a day of skiiing!

Great backwoods place to sleep and get away from the world. Cabin was small and comfortable with the appliances listed in the description. Bathroom was clean and each cabin had their own shower and toilet. The host was easy to work with and helped us make a great stay.

peaceful, beautiful, middle of nowhere. make sure to take the road by Holly park to get there. Do not take the back "road" from the other side. take 15, not 20. clean, comfortable, hospitable, fantastic experience. be aware, No AC, and no WiFi, service spotty.

Beautiful secluded cabin with all you need for a rustic getaway. Loved the seclusion and the sound of the stream out back. Quick drive to snowshoe for skiing. The road to get there was a bit more rural than we expected but the cabin was lovely.

This was the perfect peaceful getaway! The cabin itself was beautiful and the hiking trails around the property were everything we hoped for. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a calm, quiet place to recharge and enjoy nature!

Myself, my boyfriend and our 2 dogs had an awesome stay at Tony’s. The area was a perfect location for our ski trip to Snowshoe. We enjoyed how peaceful the location was and even though we had a lot of rain our last “ski day” we enjoyed being at the cabin with a fire going, watching movies. The dogs enjoyed going for walks and seeing the deer out and about. We brought in all our groceries (suggest you do the same) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. I would absolutely stay here again in the future! Tony was also very helpful and communicative throughout. Additionally, as two music lovers, we really appreciated the music themed photos/memorabilia.

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

What a beautiful, clean and well-equipped house! We loved gathering there with our extended family and dogs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nice equipment (not junk) that was easy to cook on. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches and felt at home in Sara's beautiful place. The house is very remote and perfect for those looking for a private getaway. And we are very thankful for Sara's hospitality. She was incredibly responsive and kind.

Perfect for people who appreciate a great value, love nature and want to find some peace & quiet. You have the feeling of camping, but all the amenities of being at home and then some. Full kitchen, propane grill, tv w/dvds. The bed is wonderful. Many spots at the cabin to sit and observe nature and the river. Driveway is long, but was no challenge at all. There is a Wal Mart and some restaurants about 20 mins away. There is a water filter on the sink. Heated toilet seat. Bobs place is sparkling clean, and very well thought out. The effort truly shows. The only rules at Bob's are; relax and have fun. Already booked my next trip before we even left the first trip! All around, 100/10.

We loved the cabin! The riverfront location is great, definitely want to come back and do some fishing! We had a great time and had a fire at the fire pit and played pool!

We absolutely love this cabin and stay here every winter for a fun and cozy getaway weekend. Although there is a lot to do in the area, this time, we chose to stay in and enjoy the fireplace and watching the snow fall and the river flowing past. It was so peaceful and relaxing-just what we needed! The cabin is well-equipped with everything we needed-washer and dryer, firewood, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We've already made our reservation to return next year!!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

I've stayed in probably 15 airbnb's over the years and this was THE cleanest one i've ever stayed in. The hot tub was even super clean. Ash trays provided out on the porch for a peaceful cigar. Clean sheets clean floors. Hand soaps/paper towels/plenty of pans for cooking/ a grill/ spices/ ice maker. pretty much everything you'd need for a weekend trip! Very very peaceful and well needed trip - great price as well. 10/10!

This was the perfect spot for our family of five to meet up with our friends, a family of six! Due to the remote location of the home, we packed and made all our meals and mostly stayed put enjoying the surroundings. Our six big kids absolutely loved the creek even though it was pretty frigid water (mid-April). They spent their days building rock towers, catching crayfish, and braving the waters to climb on various “rock islands.” It was deep enough in some sections that it would be a perfect swimming spot in the summer but there were also plenty of shallow places for the kids to play, If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a wonderful, peaceful getaway spot!
