We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

Then head back to your warm and inviting home to enjoy the sunset on the enclosed porch or just curl up on the couch in front of the 65" TV. Step back in time in this historic Farmhouse built in the late 1800's. Located off Hwy 43, nestled among tall pines overlooking 100 acres of field and pine forests. Bring your family and sit on the the wraparound porches. A great resting place before hitting the beautiful Alabama beaches that are 1 1/2 hours away. We are minutes away from restaurants, shopping and adventures at Old St Stephens Park . From May- August swimming is available in Jacksons Spring fed 100x400 pool. Give us a try.

Jennings Park is close by and has a paved walking trail Plenty of restaurants ElReys Mexican, Happy kitchen Chinese. David’s Catfish, Camp 31 BBQ, simply donuts and so much more. There is a laundry mat conveniently located less than a mile. We are not responsible for water, Power or Internet service issues that may occur during your stay. THINGS TO NOTE: We do have a rooster that is fond of crowing. Lol

Step out the back door and across the yard to Steve's country market for many food and snack items and local craft and gift ideas. The kids can fish, and mom can shop!

The Dogwood - Luxury home

A cozy & luxurious home away from home. Living room & Each bedroom with TV. Master has king bed with separate tub and shower. Spacious open floor plan with electric fireplace. Covered back porch with great privacy, fire pit area in back yard & attached carport. Guest bedrooms have queen beds. New build which opened December 20,2019. Great location for those visiting family, on business or just a relaxing getaway. 1 adult/guest must be 25 years old to book this house.

The Cabin -log cabin with sleeping loft(upstairs)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Sleeping loft will sleep 3 and +1 on the couch. Located about 5 miles off the Historic Downtown Square in Monroeville which is home to the Old Monroe County Courthouse. This location was copied in the movie " To Kill a Mockingbird". Come shop, dine and tour the local museum. Great place for corporate guests. Close proximity to Alabama River Cellulose, Georgia Pacific-Rocky Creek Lumber, Gate Precast, Harrigan Lumber & others.
