A private well becomes cold water for the sauna, where you can get drinking water and washing water. The washing and dishwater needs to be heated. Compost toilet in the yard building. The guest must have experience in a cottage where there is no tap water or an indoor toilet, and must know how to heat the sauna with trees. You should bring your own linens and towels. There is also no light pollution here, so you can watch the northern lights even while lounging in bed.

Kaltio is a spacious cottage next to the Kaldoaivi wilderness area. From the large windows in the living room you can watch nature, and in the dark of winter even the dance of the northern lights. You don't have to leave our cottages to see the northern lights! The cottage has three bedrooms and two toilets. Spacious sauna and shower. The water is drinkable. You can park your car directly in the yard of the cottage. The additional jacuzzi is 100€ / 3 days summer, 130€ / 3 days winter.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.
