Stay at Smultronboda sheep farm

This 19th Century farmstay accommodation is situated on Smultronboda Fårgård, home to 100 sheep in the rural area of Edsbruk. The farm has a garden with a barbeque and an on-site farm shop selling meats, preserves and cheeses. The 1-bedroom apartment at Smultronboda Fårgård is in the farmhouse and has a private balcony and a rustic décor. Books and board games can be borrowed and the apartment comes with a well-equipped kitchen. During the summer there is an on-site café serving homemade cakes, buns and sandwiches. The small market town of Gamleby is a 20-minute drive away and has a selection of shops and cafés. The whole surrounding countryside is dotted with small villages and lakes, and has many hiking and mountain biking routes. The coastal town of Västervik with its pretty marina is just 40 minutes’ drive from the farm and Astrid Lindgren’s Theme Park is an hour away by car. The apartment is self service but we offer check-out cleaning for SEK350 and sheet rental for SEK100 per person. A crib is available upon request.

A cosy cottage with its own jetty and boat on Lake Tjen

Almost at the end of the road, you will come to our cosy cottage 🏡 with a secluded plot by the stately oaks and untouched nature. There is a nature reserve outside the property, and in summer our sheep 🐑 and cows 🐄 graze in the meadows. Start the day with a dip in Lake Tjen. A private jetty, 300 m from the property, by Lake Tjen 🌊, 2 rowing boats 🚣 🚣 and 1 canoe 🛶. The charming cottage has three rooms and a kitchen with a wood-burning stove and a tiled stove, with a toilet and shower. Rented by the week (changeover on Mondays) in summer. Otherwise, at least two days in a row.

Enjoy the tranquillity and nature of Gryts skärgård! There is a cosy, fully equipped 32 m2 cabin with the forest close by and the sea around the corner. Wake up at your own pace and enjoy a long breakfast. Browse through the brochures in the cabin and decide how best to spend the day. Swimming, boat trips, kayaking, fishing, hiking? Barbecuing? Secluded cottage by a small lake

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. A small cottage located by a lake with access to its own jetty, wood-fired sauna, boat and free fishing. There is access to, among other things, a refrigerator, TC (dry toilet), fresh water in a jug and charging via a USB port and solar cells (see picture). The cabin is heated with wood. Sanitary facilities are 4 km away with access to shower and toilet. There is a forest road to the cabin. The guest cleans themselves and brings their own sheets and firewood.

You can walk to the lake in 15 minutes, drive to the sea in 40 minutes and reach the capital Stockholm in just 2.5 hours. In the village, there is a mini-supermarket within walking distance. The house invites you to come down. Read a book in front of the fireplace or play cards in the cozy kitchen with great views.

1850s archipelago homestead on Trännö

You will be staying at Edsängen, an archipelago farmhouse from the 1850s on the car-free island of Trännö. The house has been carefully renovated in turn-of-the-century style with a glass veranda and preserved wood-burning stove. At the same time, it is equipped to modern standards, including a wooden bathtub and well-equipped kitchen. The sea view follows you across the entire property, where lilacs, hollyhocks, and roses bloom.
