Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vallecito Reservoir

We have stayed at several in town locations in the past and this has been our favorite so far, love the location. Would definitely rent again.

Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens. Great host. Beds were comfortable but couches and air mattresses were as comfy as could be expected. Would stay there again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Hope was very responsive when we had questions. It’s very quiet and only a few minutes from downtown Durango. We would be happy to stay again.

We had the most wonderful time at Ben and Lacey‘s little getaway in Durango. It was perfect for my family of four. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed plus some. It was so cozy and we felt right at home. Our two fur babies absolutely loved the backyard. It was large and had lots of room for them to explore. The best part was the location. We were just steps away from the river. After a long day of skiing and leaving the dogs behind it was nice to be able to grab them and take them on a run along the beautiful Animus River. We absolutely plan on coming back and staying here again, if they will have us.

We stayed a couple of nights at Holly’s place in early December and had a great visit to Durango. We were a short distance from the historic downtown area which was very lively with Christmas decorations and lots of shoppers. The neighborhood was very walkable with sidewalks everywhere. We took our dog out for a walk in the morning and late afternoon. The very large back yard was a bonus as well. We loved the gas-burning stove and tended to linger in the morning to drink coffee and read books. Our stay was very enjoyable.

We had a very nice stay at Brandon’s property. He had provided complimentary snacks for us. Our stay was over the holidays, and it was a nice touch that there were Christmas decorations. I can highly recommend Brandon’s place!

Great spot for skiing at purgatory with a big group! We also were close to mesa verde which was a cool spot to check out. Good games already at the house - overall great stay!!

We loved this property at Purgatory resort. We were here during off season so everything was quite but it is located just opposite to the resort entrance with option for free shuttle to the skiing area so that is plus especially since we prefer to stay in a homely environment instead of a resort. We had a Tesla and having a covered garage with a level 2 charger made the difference for us to choose this property (will need to have a J1772 to CCS adapter though). The surrounding is beautiful and its right on 550 in between Durango and Silverton so great location IMO. The house itself is very modern and cozy. Brian has been super responsive to queries throughout. We loved our stay and will consider again when we visit this area.

These cabins are very small. I would not recommend more than 4 people. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. Since there is no dishwasher, we brought paper products and it wasn't an issue. The bathroom had a fairly deep tub that you could soak in and plenty of hot water. The location is to die for.

Great location, peaceful and private. Very clean and comfortable inside. Everything I needed for a few days of skiing, relaxing and cooking good food.

Wonderful accommodations, surprisingly spacious, with plenty of thoughtful touches. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and were delighted to see a small lit Christmas tree in the living room when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed, living room was comfortable, smart tv a nice touch, bathrooms and bedrooms spotless, and one of the best parts - a fully fenced backyard for the dogs. They didn't spend a lot of time out there, given the snow and cold, but a definite plus! Having an enclosed garage for the car was an added bonus. Nice quiet neighborhood for walking with Hatcher lake nearby. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The house was perfect for our Family. Everything we needed and more. We would love to come back in Summer and see this beautiful area.

What a tremendous place to stay! Incredible views, amazing setup of the pool/hot tub room, fantastic games, plenty of room, and rich history. The town of Durango also has plenty of great attractions, especially the railroad museum. We were a bit disappointed that some of the beds were queen-size instead of the described king-size beds as we are quite tall, and a few of the shower heads did not work. The local hosts were wonderfully responsive and polite, though messaging them outside of the AirBnB app felt a little unusual to me. Despite that, though, we made lifetime memories and were so grateful for a chance to stay here. Five stars for sure!

Our group of 5 adults and 5 kids loved this location and home. It has beautiful views, comfortable beds and couches, and fun activities with shuffleboard and ping pong. The rental staff was very helpful, and we definitely recommend this home to anyone.

We had a great stay in the Purgatory Condo. We were close to the mountain and the Shuttle Service was excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable surroundings after long days on the slopes.

The cozy “tiny home” style cabin was perfect for our long weekend stay. For an all girls group having 2 bathrooms was ideal. The beds were comfy and we all slept great after a full day of fishing, paddle boarding, and lake side lounging.

Great location for a weekend away in the mountains of Colorado with plenty of amenities for families and/or friends.

Great little Airbnb, plenty of space for my wife and I and our dog. Great kitchen space and a great location not too far from town. The bed was a little firm, but other than that the place could not have been better and was exactly what we expected.

Loris place was absolutely fenommenal! We loved our stay there!! The cabin was clean, we love everything there the jacuzzi the bed in master bedroom, the views.

This house was beautiful. We had a great stay here. We enjoyed the games and streaming services. The house was clean and well stocked. Our dog enjoyed the fenced-in back yard. Host responded quickly when we texted.

Just what we wanted. Just outside downtown Durango but a quick drive there. Super peaceful and quiet. We heard no noise at all and actually probably created more noise than I meant to (teens with heavy feet). Great stay. Karin was great.

The place was close to a lot of really neat things to do, but still felt nicely secluded. You could see the mountains from the hot tub, and the hot tub was awesome! Loved the furnishings of the house and how free of clutter it was! Everything seemed pretty clean, and I appreciated how quickly the hosts responded, super helpful and extremely friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in Durango.
