Apartment holiday rentals in Vallemaggia District

The house can only be reached via a footpath of about 200 m. Very nice, light-flooded apartment with a large bedroom with comfortable beds. A pellet stove warmed us the living space pleasantly (stay in April). Beautiful bathroom, kitchen very well equipped. The view from the windows and from the balcony to a high alpine landscape is absolutely fantastic. The village is located a little remote high above the Maggia Valley and can only be reached via a serpentine-rich road (but also by bus!). However, there is even near (5 km) another village with a small supermarket, restaurant and ATM. Overall really to be recommended!

Check-In was simple, everything was exceptionally clean, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I really enjoyed my 6-day-stay in this studio appartment. Migros and Coop are reached in 10 minutes per foot and the bus to/from Locarno runs every half hour, which makes travelling around the Maggia valley with public transport very easy.

We had a very nice stay in Mariam’s home. The place is quiet and really nice, surrounded by nature. Everything fits with the description, I highly recommend.

Very cosy, warm and well equipped house. Good shower, functional kitchen and nice little TV in the bedroom. Would recommend and love to stay again.

We had relaxing days in Vergeletto, mainly due to the quiet and seclusion of the accommodation. Hiking trails lead directly into the surrounding area. A mystically enchanting nature in the valley. The place is simple and convenient. The beds are convenient, the kitchen is essential well equipped. We had a few cold days, but it wasn't a problem to turn on the heaters. There is also a cozy stove. Downstairs in the house is Urs's small beer brewery - very delicate beer. Further back in the valley - after the cable car, there is excellent food in the Grotto of Patrice in the Fondovalle. For all nature lovers who like it quiet and secluded a real tip.

We had a very nice stay with a total of 5 people! The location and equipment of the AirBnB leave nothing to be desired and the key holder is very friendly. We would book the AirBnB again anytime!

A wonderful stay at Bosco Gurin, beautiful and quiet. We stayed with 2 people in the house with the stairs and had a great time. Hiking, cross-country skiing,skiing in the snowy world of Ticino, we lived in a postcard! We can't wait to see what it's like in other seasons. Fabio and his wife are very nice and friendly hosts, the communication worked out well. The quiet apartment is practical and conveniently furnished, ideal for two people, with smaller children also ok. Due to the type as an in-law, the windows are rather small, which has the advantage that the temperature inside is pleasant even in the summer. The large patio with beautiful plants gives a holiday feeling. There is parking. The Maggia for swimming is a short walk away. The bus stop, which is also nearby, makes it possible to explore the Maggiatal and Locarno / Ascona / Lake Maggiore by public transport in an easy way. If you feel like cooking yourself, the very child-friendly restaurant Bella Riva at the TCS campsite with a diverse menu and courteous staff (also possible takeaway).

Casa Iride is a stylish and beautifully renovated apartment on two floors. The large kitchen with an enormous granite fireplace is conveniently furnished. The living room is cosy and can be heated electrically or with the pellet stove (like all other rooms by the way). The garden seating area with stone table for 6 people has a gas grill. Shopping is quickly done: The village shop, a Denner satellite, is 20m next door, Migros and Coop a little further. The best part: Despite the central location it is quiet. We had a very relaxing week in the Maggiatal and are happy to recommend Casa Iride!

A fantastic place to stay! Very nice and quiet apartment in a top location. The decor is thoughtful, modern and there is everything you need. In addition, the apartment was spotlessly clean. A perfect base for exploring the area. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back!

The surroundings with the view look very nice and the pools have delighted us. The path on foot from the village center is steep, with stairs faster but exhausting. But with very nice views. We loved the stay and the provider was accommodating with all the information we needed.

Amazing spot to ski at Andermatt. We were there late season and got 16” of snow. Easy base camp to explore the area. Walk to the Gemsstock Lift, have some runs on the mountain, come down to the hot tub on the deck.

This is a great place with an even better view. The huge balcony offers an amazing panoramic view over the lake and mountains and the comfy outdoor furniture will guarantee many hours of outdoor enjoyment. Also inside the apartment offers everything you need and especially the bed was super comfy. The location is great as well, a few minutes walk to the bus stop and the town center with shop / boat terminal can also easily be reached on foot. Only minor downside is that the road in front of the house gets quite busy during commuting hours (lots of people living up hill), but during the day it was still quite peaceful.

I was 100% satisfied, there is nothing to complain about.

Beautiful, exceptionally well-appointed apartment with absolutely stunning views over Lake Lugano. Even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures, with a lush, tropical garden, a perfect lawn, and huge terrace. Adrian was a very responsive host, and we had everything we needed and more for a lovely stay. Plentiful towels and clean sheets, a relaxing hot tub, and comfortable, stylish furniture. The lake properties provide direct access to the water and are beautiful and tranquil. Just a word of caution to dog owners and families with small children that the road between the main property and the lake can be dangerous, with no sidewalk and fast driving cars. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing break from the city.
