Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

The apartment is located at the foot of Hovfjället. By car, it is an 8-minute drive to Hovfjället's ski lift, a variety of signposted and divinely beautiful hiking trails. There is also a rowboat to borrow. The surroundings are known for offering a rich supply of berries and mushrooms. In winter, there are rich opportunities for cross-country skiing and ice fishing.

One bedroom has a double bed and the other two bunk beds, a total of 6 beds. There is also a utility room with the possibility to hang and dry clothes in drying cabinets. WiFi and Canal Digital's full range is available. Bed linens and towels are not included. Cleaning is not included in the basic price but can be purchased from the host.

A smaller marina is available with a launching ramp for guests with their own boat. Bed linens and towels are not included, available for rent for SEK 150 per person. The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.
