Holiday rentals in Vatnsnes

We stayed for almost a week in this very big house which has everything you will need for excellent stay Thank you Edith it was a fenomenal stay i really liked the man cave with all the games , would surely recommend this place to anyone!

The house is situated at an altitude with beautiful views and is surrounded by land with relatively many birds. Many places on Snaefellsnes are easy to reach. The last kilometers to the house are unpaved, but a 4x4 is not necessary. There is a good bed that just fits in the bedroom, the equipment is more than sufficient. The wifi details on the Airbnb site were not accurate but were in the guest font, so that was quickly resolved.

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

Incredibly beautiful and serene. Check in was easy, the cottage was cute and perfect comfort two with amazing views, and the hot tub next to the stream was so peaceful. Perfect place to see the northern lights!

This was a great place to stay as a base camp for exploring western Iceland. Very clean and welcoming. The view is great, the hot tub is perfect after a long day walking around, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and grill had everything we needed in order to cook meals. Jon and Kristin were great and made us feel right at home. They even had chocolate bars for us when we got to the house! A couple minor things to know if you're considering this house. 1. There are 3 bedrooms, but the third bedroom has a sofa bed, not a regular bed. This room is also the TV room, so if you were planning on using the TV a lot, you would need to put the bed back in to a sofa and vice versa each day. This wasn't a big deal for us since we weren't planning to use the TV. 2. One of the reasons I really liked this house is that it had a fireplace. This is true, but it's meant for burning DuraFlame logs, not actual firewood. I didn't realize that "real" fires aren't really a thing in Iceland.

We had a lovely time at Irma's place, we felt very comfortable in the house. Everything worked out just fine. We enjoyed the view of the sea. What was needed was there. The facility left nothing to be desired. The surroundings are wonderful. Irma is very helpful and friendly and was super quick to respond. We can fully recommend this accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

Our 2nd time staying at this summer house! Place was as described and very clean. Great location with lots to do in the area!
