Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyll at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. Hajstorp has a café and hostel and many lifesavers come here during the summer months. At the southwestern end of Hajstorp is Kanalingenjörsvillan, which served as a residence for canal engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the large garden is the charming little driver's cottage. It is from the mid-19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

At the back of the house there is a wide balcony where you can view the meadows, pine forests and a small pond, some days wild animals will come out to graze such as deer family, moose, hare. There are forest areas that are safe to walk for you. If you love hiking, cycling or jogging, this is the place for you .The wide area free parking in front .There are supermarkets and transportation only 4-5 minutes drive.

Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. Den lilla vita gäststugan på vår villatomt är 25 kvm stor och innehåller de flesta bekvämligheter du behöver för några få nätter. Utanför finner du en liten ostörd uteplats med hallonlandet som granne och med utsikt över hela trädgården. Lugnt område nära till Svartån. I byn finns även Kaptensbostaden som erbjuder slagauktioner och har egen inredningsbutik med begränsade öppettider.
