Cabin holiday rentals in Ventura

This is a very charming house. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is beautiful with great hiking. It is older, but charming.

It's a funky, artsy cabin that we felt very comfortable in and with Co-Host Joe's help, some issues with the hot tub and oven were quickly addressed. and fixed. He also helped us move a heavy glass table to celebrate my dinner celebration by candlelight with friends and family as well as get a roaring fire going in the stove. A very memorable stay and loved that my Aussie girl along with her soul sister could join us. I live only 20 mins away but it really felt like a get away! Thanks Paul and Joe. Linda W.

Absolutely stunning property! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures—clean and thoughtfully updated while still maintaining the integrity of the original design. The views of the canyon were breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. While some roads were closed due to mudslides, the alternate routes were incredibly scenic with plenty of lookout points to enjoy along the way. The host was fantastic—super responsive to our questions. It rained a few times while we were there, so we needed more wood for the fireplace— the groundskeeper chopped wood the very next day after we asked which we really appreciated and got great use out of! We would love to come back someday!

Heidi and her family stay in tree house like units and live in a ship with wild family dogs and animals and you will stay on a mountain and read a book and relax and enjoy the mountains. In town is a great pizza place called Endless Color where you can shop for records, eat a burrata pizza, and get a cappuccino and a cookie. Also, the famous place by a creek is down the street. I hope I can afford a couple more nights here another time soon to work and unwind.

Off the beaten path cottage that truly feels like another world. When you walk in, you feel right at home.

The cabin and location are amazing. Lots of deck space with multiple decks to enjoy the outdoors. The view from the living room is incredible, as well as the nice wood burning fireplace. Would definitely stay here again!!

Absolutely loved our night here. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Looking forward to returning sometime. A true gem.

If you’re looking for a secluded, serene spot away from the congestion & noise of LA, this is the place. A bit of a treasure hunt to find the place (directions were clear- it was just really up some winding narrow roads. But I love that. Could imagine spending many days here and never leaving the place.

My partner and I came up for the weekend and absolutely loved this getaway. Tatyana’s spot was so cozy and peaceful. It was nice to disconnect and be with nature for the weekend. We stayed only for one night but definitely would love to go back for an entire weekend. The bed was very comfy and the shower was AMAZING.

If Heaven was a Bohemian-inspired treehouse, then this is it. Nestled under and around beautiful trees and wildlife, with a stunning canyon view, this is the perfect getaway to unplug, unwind & immerse yourself in pure beauty. What will stand out are all the sweet details, a helpful guest book, high grade linens & pillows, and a ridiculously comfortable mattress! The Treehouse is nothing short of paradise. A quiet, magical haven that allows for the most restful sleep - you never want to leave the cozy surroundings but if you do … Topanga is charming, hikes & ocean spots nearby are spectacular. Tatyana is a wonderful host and extremely conscientious & respectful of your privacy yet available by text if you need anything. Many thanks to Tatyana ~ my dog & I will definitely be returning soon.

We had a great stay at this comfortable, private, cabin that was an ideal place to spend time with family during the holiday season. Festive lights had been hung for a welcoming arrival and ambiance. The spacious kitchen and dining room and intimate breakfast nook were perfect for family meals. The spacious fruit groves around the cabin were very nice and soothing for after meals and morning strolls. Maribel and Jesus were both very attentive to any questions or requests. We highly recommend this cozy cabin and would be willing to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful experience! I stayed here after driving cross country from Atlanta and was totally taken by surprise how lovely this place was. Lisa was an absolute goddess of a host and I feel thankful to have met her. The space feels quite “off the grid” though it isn’t far from PCH and other access points. The trailer is definitely rustic (very cold some nights but all the more reason to bundle up!) but quite charming and super inviting once you get settled in. Honestly this is the condensed version of my experience but if you are feeling drawn to this place for whatever reason… book it! Thank you Lisa and Cross Bull Ranch for making me feel at home and for being such a beautiful space. Aho!

A great stay in the mountains with quiet serenity

My wife and I visit Los Angeles twice a year, and for the past few years, we've chosen different places that John has available. John is an excellent communicator, and each of the places is exactly as described in the photos. Very clean, comfortable, and well-located. Their amenities add an extra touch to the experience. We will continue to choose them when we are in the area. 100% recommended.
