Casa Ricciotti is a bright apartment, built within the ancient walls of the village of Vico del Gargano. Nestled in the heart of the Park of Gargano, Puglia, this peaceful village overlooking the Adriatic Sea and its many beaches.
“Nicola’s house in Vico is beautiful. It manages to feel modern and sophisticated, yet maintains the atmosphere of a country house. After having traveled around Puglia for just under two weeks prior to arriving here, it was a pleasure to cook in the updated kitchen and listen to music on the Bose speaker. It’s a great place to end your day after exploring this spectacular part of Italy. There’s a terrific market with fresh seafood and produce to buy food that is just a short walk from the house through the centro storico of Vico. Vico itself has an outstanding center inside a medieval castle. It should be said that it is a little rougher around the edges than even the nearby coastal towns of Rodi and Peschici, but I found it lovely and spirited. Another wonderful attribute of Nicolas’ place is it’s convenience to the gorgeous sandy beaches of the Gargano. I would absolutely recommend staying here, but suggest you speak to Nicolas beforehand to figure out where to park. It’s a little tricky to navigate those tiny, meandering streets that make Vico so charming when on foot.”
The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building without a lift with a great view and is at the center of the village. It is very convenient to easily reach banks, cinemas, bars, clothing stores and grocery stores.
“Old but nice home, with loads of space. Perfect for families or large parties. In the city center and very close to the old town. Easy and free parking in front of the building. Our host Nadia was precise and welcoming. Absolutely recommended. Would stay here again if I come back to Vico del Gargano”
Splendid and welcoming house in the charming historic center of Vico in the heart of the Gargano. Suggestive environment with stone fireplace, wooden beams and small terrace. A few kilometers from the beach of San Menaio, Peschici, Rodi Garganico and Vieste. A few minutes from the Umbra Forest, a splendid natural reserve with its UNESCO heritage beech forest.
“Perfect studio for a couple, very clean, quiet, in a beautiful location in the old town center. It enjoys a fantastic terrace where we had dinner, aperitif and breakfast. Giulio and his people are exquisite, attentive and diligent in communication. Upon arrival we found sweets and welcome drinks. Vico del Gargano is a beautiful village, not very touristy even in high season, compared to the most famous countries of the Gargano it has kept its authenticity. Located in the hinterland but 15 mins drive from the delightful Calenella beach. Stay strongly recommended.”
