Hi! We are Vitória and Hermínio, a happily married azorean couple. We live in Vila Franca for more than 30 years and we think this is the perfect town to spend some relaxing holidays. Porta 29 is located in the historical center of Vila Franca, at just 100 m from the marina. In the backyard you can enjoy an amazing view to the sea and the beach. We challege you to wake up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains or the sea, depending on the season. We´re looking forward to hear from you!

The Gate House - Charm and Comfort in Azores

Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking Ponta Delgada, green fields and the ocean. Close access to main roads will enable you to explore the island very easily. This building was used in the 19th century as a barn and was recently refurbished to very high standards. The house combines a traditional architecture, a cozy interior and all the comfort you can expect on your holiday. Original features remain throughout the house like the wooden beams and a panel of azulejo tiles above your bed.
