What a loved place! The most beautiful view from the garden, nice cold swimming pool and the garden is full of herbs to use when cooking. And all the flowers! Would recommend this place so much. Also, Het and Ronald are so kind and they know the area and the wine in the area very well.

what a sublime place. it was perfect. the location is outstanding, the people are great. the views are incredible. our time here was the icing on the cake for our portugal trip. we would hope to come back.

Marli was impeccable, always ready to help us, worried and very kind. The amazing space, a breathtaking view, the apartment with everything it takes for a great stay, and I have to mention Marli's concern about leaving us the apartment warm before we check in. Nice location and summing up 5 stars.

Very nice place to spend a few days with family. Highly recommended for those with young children. The house was spotless and the outdoor garden is great for a good time. Mr. Vitor was very friendly and always very quick to answer. The entry and exit process was very simple and fast. He gave several suggestions of places where one could go to lunch/dinner or to go shopping. The house is located in a very friendly village and relatively close to other big towns/cities with a lot to do. I recommend 100% for those planning to stay in this area.

The site is truly wonderful, it has easy access to the jacuzzi pool, and the sauna. lacks some indication of their use, but nothing that has been complicated or impossible. the phenomenal room! The bathroom and kitchen very clean. Generally an excellent place to chill out.

We enjoyed the personalized attention and instructions at checkin. We also received marvelous dining recommendations at a Brazilian din er house a short walk from the apartment. We were very comfortable and highly recommend this location and apartment. Clean, quiet and secure apartment made us feel very welcome. Thank you

The house is fantastic, with plenty of space inside, as well as outside. Spectacular pool, my daughters loved it. Orchard with varied fruit trees, from which we can harvest and enjoy. Weekly bed linen and towels, with the sympathy of Dona Cristina ( the lady who takes care of the house ) We're definitely coming back. Paulo Ferreira

A wonderful house to stay in - spotlessly clean and very spacious, with incredible views across the Douro valley. Thomas was a top-notch host, very responsive and helpful. We were really impressed by the multiple balconies(!), extremely well equipped kitchen, and beautiful, modern decor inside. The walk into Mesão Frio is only around 10-15 minutes, and the town has a good supermarket and a number of cafés/restaurants (although we did find that nearly all the restaurants were closed in the first 2 weeks of September, which was unfortunate timing for our visit!) We managed to reach the house from Porto by train, although it isn't particularly easy or quick to get from either of the closest stations to the house. Driving is therefore recommended! Overall, we thought it was a great property with plenty of space for a large group or a couple of families, with all the amenities you could possibly hope for, in a beautiful location! Fantastic value for money too - worth every penny.

This house has a magnificent view. It was like being on top of the world with church bells ringing in the background . The architecture of the home was modern & beautifully designed. Comfortable beds; modern heating and a cozy fireplace . We were there during winter & love the peace & quiet. Our host Murilo was extremely generous checking in with us and sent bakery deliveries every morning . Such serenity there we will bring home with us . 🙏

Perfect jumping off point for Douro Valley. The house served our family of 5 well. We had a great experience with the property manager, Beatriz. She was very communicative and even helped us ship home a few items we left behind. Overall a great stay.

Lovely 2 night stay to break up a long motorhome tour of Portugal and Spain. Luís’s place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s set in beautiful countryside with lots of local walks. The house is quite remote but has everything you need and is very well maintained. Logs are provided for the wood burner which was an added bonus and a local baker delivered bread to our door. Luis was a very helpful and welcoming host. It was lovely place to stay. Thank you, Luís.

We were at Casa da Venda for a weekend with friends and some children. It was all very well and everyone felt comfortable. The accommodation has all the amenities and utensils necessary for the stay of a large group. The house is charming and the spaces are very nice, in particular the outside. Júlio was a good host, always quick to answer our questions. Very attentive, you left us right away, explaining everything we needed to know. In the end, everyone talked about coming back!
