Fernanda was a great host. friendly and helpful all the time. the place was perfect to accommodate our 5 families. we will come back again.

Although we were not lucky with time, the stay was memorable and we thought we would go back. Beautiful house with excellent sights, very well framed. Very comfortable with excellent heating. We can easily find a place for lunch and dinner as kings.

The view from the house is spectacular. We looked down over the Pinhão River and could also see the Douro River, boats and trains that passed by Pinhão. The house is large with two floors so there is ample room for 4 people. Henriqueta left a substantial amount of supplies for us, unlike many places that leave just enough to get you started, there was enough coffee, milk, juice, cold meats, cheese, butter, fruit and bread for our entire stay of six days and laundry soap. I would describe the furnishings as "eclectic" however, where the place truly shines is outdoors. There is a lovely tiered garden with fruit trees, flowers and herbs and it carries around outside the gate up the hill which we hiked up to visit the ruins above the house. There is an outdoor barbecue with ample charcoal and wood, which we also used as well as patio tables and chairs. Outside the entrance is a long counter with 8 chairs, perfect for your morning coffee in the sun. We were too early April for the hot tub

Casa Grande is an amazing house, we loved our experience, because yes it is an experience! The path to Covelinhas is very steep, you have to be careful when crossing cars. The pool is superb, the rooms are all lovely. There are two small cafes nearby but otherwise we travel by car. I would highly recommend it.

We were 3 people for 3 weeks in Clara's vacation home. We felt very comfortable from the start. The house is very large and superbly furnished. It is very clean and well-maintained. You have everything you need and great Wi-Fi. Clara was super friendly and available at all times. The house is highly recommended. We will be happy to come back.😊 Thanks Clara for the wonderful stay😘

Andre's place is in a great location in the Douro Valley. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

This is a great little place, mainly because of its location, views!!! and infinity swimming pool. The flat itself is functional and nothing special, but perfectly fine. The view from most of the windows is however to die for, looking down a classic Douro valley. The location is nice and quiet, as it’s up the valley, about 15 mins from “the Douro hub” of Pinhau (Pinhão) and 10 min from Tabuaco. André is helpful; however, it would be helpful to have guidance (manual) on a few things in the house such as TV (that was initially not working) and that there is for instance a little tweak to look the front door. The cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful, she also checked that everything is in order with and around the pool.

the house is great with all the comforts, the area is very quiet perfect to disconnect from the routine, they are very friendly and are always ready to make your stay the most satisfactory

This was a wonderful and relaxing stay in the Douro Valley. Every room has a view and the living room and bedrooms all open onto the private terrace. One of the guests was not able to handle a lot of stairs and therefore it was great that the entrance to the apartment is on the same level as the parking, with only a couple of steps. They very kindly left us some delicious cakes for the Easter weekend. Rodrigo was responsive and helped us with any questions. Thank you!

I super recommend Maria's Room, and Maria really knows how to treat guests, she made me feel very comfortable, always very attentive, she guided me in everything, as much as to places I needed to go and wonderful points in the city as a restaurant, points to take the best photo, curiosities of the region and its surroundings, and not to mention the person who may have a heart that does not fit on my chest, I just have to thank God for having directed me up here in her Hosting... and thank you very much 🫂 Maria "Gina", it was a pleasure to stay in your hosting ... the world would be much better if there were more Marias around the same way... thank you very much and success for your family, and my congratulations...

We had a lovely stay at this cottage located in the countryside in a relaxing place! José and Aurora were very attentive: tips, fruit and apple juice from the farm, thank you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, rivers for swimming a few minutes away, Amarante and Guimarães 45 minutes away, Porto 1h15.

Filipa's converted mill is a wonderful place, hidden between the hills. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and observing the wildlife around it. There are some great restaurants nearby and good hiking opportunities in the nearby national park. Filipa was very helpful and provided lots of recommendations for the surroundings.

Paulo really has a very cozy stay with great views and a prime location. Our stay was very good, it is a perfect house to spend a few relaxing days between friends and family with very good access to an area that is really worth visiting.

Beautiful locale, pure nature, well cared for, the dwellings are well located to enjoy peace and rest, with all the amenities necessary for leisure or homework. The care in the details and details both indoors and outside is out of the ordinary, congratulations to those responsible. Communication was always ready and fast, for everything deserves a 5 star touch.

It was a great experience, loved how rustic and accommodating the place is. Our kids really enjoyed the nature, domestic animals and hosts Clarinda, Emanuel and Jose went above and beyond to help us feel comfy. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family.
