The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.

Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property.
