The cottage has its own fenced garden and borders a forest where you can take a nice walk, and there are many more hiking areas in the vicinity. You can also walk from the cottage to a lovely swimming lake in about 20 minutes.

Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.
