Luxury wooded vacation home with sauna

'The Birdhouse' is hidden amongst the trees in a quiet spot on park Bosrijk Ruighenrode. In the garden you can spot many birds and squirrels. It is a great place for people who like walking and cycling! Three of the four bedrooms, one bathroom (with a shower in the bathtub) and a separate toilet are situated downstairs. The luxery bathroom upstairs has a sauna and steamcabine. It is a great place to stay with kids and there is ample space. Come and visit the house to enjoy the peace and quiet!

Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. In short, enjoy this beautiful area. Not suitable for those with disabilities. Without breakfast.

There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove on cold evenings and of course in the sauna.
