Welcome to Skimbles Cottage. Our semi detatched farm cottage is in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the lovely Corvedale. It is on a working sheep and arable farm. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a king (with a great view of the Brown Clee hill) and two singles that can be pushed together to make a super king (which overlooks the meadow). We have a large fenced garden with our own meadow, and there is a 20 minute round walk on the farm by the River Corve.
Light and airy cottage with white painted floor boards throughout and exposed wooden beams. One double bed in the bedroom although mattress could be provided for couple with kids. Access to main garden with winding paths, sweeping lawns, tennis court and pretty flowing brook. Garden reputedly designed by Edwardian Garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. Chickens freely roam the garden and supply plenty of fresh eggs. Two large trampolines in the paddock and miniature shetland ponies.
