“Our two year old daughter, Magnolia, came alive as soon as she stepped out of the car and onto their property. She watched the chickens, looked for eggs, ran down to the lake, explored, and then insisted on exploring more. The homemade chocolate chip cookies and extra snacks were also a hit. Joan made us feel right at home, as though she was giving us a big warm embrace. The property is stunning. The hospitality is heartwarming. The peace is refreshing. It is a little ways out, but the beauty of the experience made it well worth it. Thank you Joan for welcoming H, J, and M to your farm!”

“Will was an amazing host and outgoing person. The tour was fun and was interesting to know about the history of the house. He had lots of fun game and hidden secret passageways. He gave us a complimentary wine bottle as well with our tour. The rooms and house were spacious and neat to stayed in. At the end of the trip we had amazing time and appreciate the special omelets he made us.”

“My wife and I loved it here. Peaceful and quiet which is just what we needed on our trip home. We stayed for two nights. The house was spotless. Very large especially for the price we paid. I personally loved the living room because I got the opportunity to relax in a recliner. We enjoyed eating at the counter in the kitchen since it gave us a view of the entire living area and could see the TV. Fridge had waters and sodas if we didn’t have when we arrived - this was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again. Derrick and Tracy were wonderful hosts and were especially helpful during this difficult time.”
