Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Highland Hideaway

Only 20 minutes from Wyalusing or pikes peak state park, The Effigy Mounds (Indian Burial Grounds)and Historic Villa Louis. This beautiful cabin centers you 30 miles from amazing hiking, fishing, hunting and nature for a weekend of disconnecting from busy life.

Modern Country Cabin

Clear your mind at this modern, fully furnished cabin in heart of the Driftless region of MN, WI, and IA. Built in 2016, this truly unique space has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

Glenwood Getaway

1860's log cabin, remodeled into a modern house. Located 8 miles east of Decorah on 5 acres of woods. Cell service is weak (Verizon, US Cell) or not available (others). WiFi is available. TV with local BluRay/DVD/VHS only - No TV channel service. Come here to get away. The last mile to the house is a gravel road. Main entry is on the 1st (lowest) floor. One bedroom on the 2nd floor. Two bedrooms on the 3rd floor. There is one bathroom on each floor. Stairs to the 3rd floor are steep.

CR Station Train Caboose

Enjoy the restoration of our charming and cozy caboose! Complete with all the amenities you'll need and more! Linens and towels, refrigerator, microwave, a double burner hot plate, dishes for cooking, barware for cocktailing, and even the original conductor's chairs to watch the sunset over the horse pasture. The Barn Loft, located in NE Iowa, is just a short drive from some of the best trout fishing in this part of the state! It is a full Loft Space (1500 square feet) above this Timber Framed Barn built by Wally and Traci. Here you have access to your own rooms, kitchen, and more. Whether you're a large family, or a couple just trying to get away for a few days, The Barn Loft is perfect for you and your loved ones. There are miles of hiking trails and private streams. Paint Creek Place

Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.
