Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wayne County

Kevin’s place was perfect for my stay in town for business. It is close to many great places to eat, grab coffee or a drink. I was able to even visit Third Man Records during my stay. The space is very cozy and secluded. One thing to note is that it has a few spots with low ceilings. As you can tell from the photos, it has slanted parts aligned with the roof lines. But also the bedroom and bathroom doors are slightly shorter than standard height. I’m 6’4” and had to duck to get in and out. Not a big deal for me and I would definitely stay there again.

Sean and Allison were incredibly kind & gracious hosts. They were always available to communicate and prompt & courteous. We couldn’t have asked for a better situation for our family visit. The space was perfectly comfortable and spacious for our needs. But Sean and Allison’s hospitality is what made this an amazing stay.

My wife, toddler, 7 month old and myself stay at a different house every month. THIS was by far the best house we’ve stayed at. I hope they keep the rate so people can experience this but if it was double we would still go back. It was an incredible experience and we plan to stay every year. This house was not basic like most Airbnbs it was packed to this point you get you lived there. I stay in different ones every month in California and they have nothing on this place. I am a Michigander and I have a 2 year old, a 7 month old plus a bougie wife 🤫 and this was perfect for us all. I worked from the office, we had fires at night, played pool and poker throughout the trip. My son loved the backyard basketball court. Everyone says “this place felt like home” on the Airbnb reviews but this place is the real deal. If you are reading this it is your single to book it, I’d add a couple extra days if I could. There’s also a ton of restaurants within walking distance.

Stop searching and book this place immediately!!!! We have zero complaints about our stay at the hearthstone. Beautifully curated home, super clean, comfortable beds, quiet and safe neighborhood, fresh cut flowers on the dining room table (!), and the toilet in the 1/2 bath with a heated seat, bidet, and air dryer (all with adjustable settings) may have actually changed my life. Carson was kind and easy to get in contact with. Everything was as described in the listing. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

It's a cute little house with everything that a couple of people may need during the stay. Great restaurants nearby (we went to Mint29). The Henry Ford Museum is also close.

Staying a week at Ildefonso's house has been a great experience, since we arrived everything was perfect. He and his partner took care of all the details so that we felt as comfortable as possible , the house was very equipped and clean, in addition we had the surprise that we had left many things for breakfast and an aperitif. Of all the experiences we've had in Airbnb, this was definitely the best. When we return to Detroit we will stay at their home and the families we know and have their children studying at Lawrence Tech, we will also recommend Ildefonso's house because we don't think there is any better.

Booby’s house was just as he described. This house felt like you were at home, cozy and comfortable. The cherry on top was the park next door. Great for all ages.

The house is large and very clean. Was perfect for my family to stay to attend the ACDC concert. We were about an 11 min uber from Ford Field. Other reviews are accurate when they say the area is a little run down but the place itself is incredibly nice! Would definitely stay again if we need a large home!

Get place for a family to spend time in Detroit. Will stay again.
