The Fisherman's cottage is located on a farm at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains; a short 17km drive from Mooi River. The cottage has panoramic views over a 6ha private trout dam and you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets while sipping your sundowner on the cottage patio, or the deck near the little waterfall.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, situated on the picturesque Midlands Meander route. . This cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with a double bed, shower, toilet and a basin. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities. Guests also have the use of complimentary Wi-Fi and TV with streaming service during their stay. Shaded undercover parking is available on-site.

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)
