Holiday rentals with lake access in Wendland

It was incredibly relaxing and very nice! We had been there with our two kids and our dog. Everyone felt comfortable and relaxed. Great house, nice large garden where you could play good games and the sauna was the highlight with direct access to the lake. Many thanks to Wenzel and Clara for this great and beautiful place!

An absolute gem in size, we lacked nothing and we all had imaginable amenities inside as well as outside in abundance! :) In the fully equipped kitchen we were able to take care of ourselves completely! In the beds, thanks to the very good mattresses, we slept like princes & princesses :) Evening there is red deer to watch in the field opposite and tomorrows, at breakfast in the beautiful garden, we are greeted by cranes, a dream. The house is very cozy and stylishly decorated, my favorite was the conservatory, with its oversized sofa that invites you to dream, wander into the distance and devour a good book:) Christian and Elisabeth provided us with 2 bicycles, with which we could make 2 nice excursions. We stayed a few days over Easter with the extended family and just had a fantastic time!

We described the place is actually a little remote and quiet. Although the highway is right behind a hill, you don't get a lot of it inside. The apartment was nicely decorated and we had everything we need.

The house is as seen in the pictures very beautiful and furnished to a high standard. Everything you need is available and also small details such as extra blankets, a pair of spices and a barbecue were there. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and we got an introduction. The sauna overlooking the garden is a highlight, especially at night due to the built-in starry sky and LED lighting. Fire bowl and wood were also available, which we were allowed to use easily. You can walk to the swimming spot on the lake in about 2 minutes. Overall a wonderful stay that is ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The communication with Scarlett and Robert was also straightforward and answers to questions were always quick. We will certainly come back again!

The cozy cottage delivers what it promises!! <3 It is super cozy and comfortably furnished and also the outside terrace or the surrounding garden/green area are well maintained. Simply beautiful! We used it every day for sports, meditation, breakfast and sunbathing. The surroundings are pleasantly quiet, the lake just across the street and supermarkets are a 5-minute bike ride away. A great place to relax and unwind. The interaction with the hosts was super friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful time in beautiful Kukuk! The house was super clean and cozily furnished – you felt right at home. The location is wonderfully quiet, great for unwinding. Especially great was the beautiful garden and the surrounding nature – perfect for long walks, bike rides or just for unwinding. After a short walk you are directly on the lake. The contact with Karina, Andreas and the whole family was excellent: always available, very friendly and with many helpful tips about the area. We will definitely be back 😊

We had a really nice Christmas in this spacious, sparkling clean and fully equipped apartment of Jürgen and Dorothea. The two are great and very friendly hosts. Everything was perfectly organized. And the view of the lake is of course just beautiful. An unrestricted recommendation! And if I need a vacation apartment in Ratzeburg again, I will definitely check whether the listing is still available for booking.

The apartment is very large, clean and conveniently furnished. The location is great for discovering Hamburg: central and very quiet.

Great private Airbnb! Everything from town to great restaurants were walking distance. Also a wonderful organic market and lots of coffee shops no more than 5 min walking distance. Super clean place, comfortable bed and lovely canal views.

We were only guests for one night. Airbnb is very quiet in the middle of a small idyll. The apartment is small but nice. Absolutely cozy and lovingly furnished. The location in the countryside and yet close to Hamburg is perfect, both for the nature lovers and for the city people. Anna messaged us and described how we find the Airbnb. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would check back in anytime!

The place is really great, quietly located right on the lake and very modern. Perfect for us as a family and everything very clean. The communication was very easy and quick and helpful to respond to issues.

We stayed one night. :) The apartment is nice and bright and everything important was available for us. It was particularly pleasant that we were allowed to leave our luggage earlier. You can also reach a lot on foot.
