Holiday rentals with beach access in Whangamatā

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

The place was immaculate and had everything we needed, including beach towels which was helpful. There was a proper oven & hob, and a full sized fridge that Cheryl had left some basics in to get us started. Cheryl met us on arrival and gave us full instructions on everything and some useful local recommendations. The beach is just around the corner and very long with hardly anyone on it. We had several long chats with Cheryl & loved getting to know her. We would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending. Thank you Cheryl & Mark for a lovely few days

What a lovely place to stay and the location is super close to the beach. Jackson is an awesome host. Great communication and very helpful. Hope to stay here again when we’re visiting Tauranga.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and given pretty appalling weather, we still managed to see and do a lot. Very comfortable, spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. Had everything we needed, minus perhaps a stove top (no big deal, as plenty of alternative means of cooking) David was very helpful in getting us settled in, and left us to ourselves during our stay. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Laura's Pop Top apartment was one of favourite Airbnb's we experiences. The location couldn't have been better, set above shops and restaurants in the main street, and a short stroll to the beach. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. The rooftop patios were fantastic for taking in the sea and mountain views. Laura was super responsive.

A wonderful place to stay - the house was lovely and very tastefully styled. We felt right at home and it was so nice to pop out to the beach. The outside hot shower was a really great addition! Kristie was an amazing host, great communication and offered restaurant recommendations which we used and they were excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others.

It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

We had a great time at Sue’s place! Close walking distance to the beach and a short drive to the mount. Sue was very accommodating with an early check in and a late checkout. There is a little bit of road noise from the busy Oceanbeach road but not the end of the world. Overall loved our stay!

Great place for two couples to stay and even families with he excellent layout. So close to the beach too. Loved the spa pool and all the amenities. We had a great stay. The hosts were great in communication and had a great check in and out times.

We had a wonderful stay at 50 Marine Parade at Bay of plenty! The location is absolutely prime, right by the water and just a 5-minute walk to Mount Maunganui, restaurants, and shops. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Irene was super responsive and incredibly accommodating. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting the area! Thank you, Irene, for making our stay so enjoyable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It was spacious indoors. Sitting outside with a cold drink taking in the view and watching tuis, quail and fantails was great. We made use of the barbecue and washing machine. Kitchen area was compact. Alan the host was welcoming and gave us good tips on things to do.

We bought family together from various places. So it helped a lot to have clear instructions and especially that Charlene went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We also appreciate the assistance with a late change in timing due to travel issues. The balcony area was particularly appreciated to get a cool breeze and nice view!

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

Great central pad to stay at Mount Maunganui.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Beach. Easy walk to restaurant and beach very peaceful and friendly. Would come again.
