Holiday rentals with beach access in Whangapoua

lovely place for our family getaway. views of the water were excellent for seeing the tide and best time to walk along beach. the complex pool and spa was a bonus especially for our todler. clean tidy and appreciated it was well equipped with your basics, these little extras made it feel home away from home. thanks for having us

Fabulous apartment. Spotlessly clean. Was lovely to meet Cheryl and Mark, who gave us some great tips on places to visit. We went to Bowentown and went to the top, the views were stunning. Loved the special touches like cereal, toast, toppings and milk, much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was very good. Cheryl's garden was beautiful and you could actually hear the waves whilst sitting with our morning coffee. Just a short walk to the beach too. Absolutely recommend and would love to return.

Perfect spot for Whitianga adventure, just down the road from all the restaurants and all the cool spots. So peaceful and quiet you can sit and watch all the boats heading out and coming back... even listen to the birds arguing on the estuary...

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

We booked the lower apartment for 10 days If there are guests above in the other apartment of the house, it gets noisy. But the hosts point out! The listing is accurate and ok!

We were looking for a beach property to just wind down for a few days, and we certainly found it. The photos of Robert and Maranda's place on Airbnb say it all, but once you get there, its the 'sound' of the beach that sealed it for us. We simply dropped our bags and went for a walk on the beach. Greeted the next day with an amazing sunrise, right from the door !! Great set up and layout inside. Really comfortable. It just worked for us, and as silly as it sounds, the little night light in the bathroom is brilliant ! Everything local ( shops, cafes, restaurants) is all within easy reach. Robert & Maranda's place is in a great location, with the beach side town of Whangamata a short walk behind you, and that awesome beach & bay right in front of you. Lastly, Robert, cheers for the tip for a great meal out on a Wed night !

A 5 star stay! Such a fantastic place, right across from the beach and very comfortable for our family even during a cyclone. Super well equipped kitchen, truly had everything you needed. Bedrooms were all lovely and had good quality beds and linen. Zero negatives to this place, it was wonderful and would love to stay again.

Rob was a great host, super quick responses and opened the house to us earlier when their was no guests before us. House is very spacious and homey. Kid friendly and the beach right across the road. We will always look for robs place first when we come back to Waihi beach!

The place was very modern and lots of room for our family. There were several outdoor facilities to use- bbq, pizza oven, outdoor furniture, Communication was fantastic and easy access to the house.

We love staying here! It’s our second time and we’ll be back again as soon as we can. Terry is a great host and nothing is too much trouble. The property is in a very central location and is walking distance to main street. There is also safe off road parking. The house is stunning and I love the pieces of art work displayed around the place. We all appreciated the games cupboard and our parents loved the book selection. The new air fryer is a wonderful addition too!

We enjoyed our stay here. You cannot beat the location - the view is incredible and easy access to the beach was so nice! Sarah was a wonderful host - so friendly and quick to communicate. The house is simple, exactly as shown in the photos, but the beds were comfortable and we appreciated having plenty of towels for inside the house and the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. It was spacious indoors. Sitting outside with a cold drink taking in the view and watching tuis, quail and fantails was great. We made use of the barbecue and washing machine. Kitchen area was compact. Alan the host was welcoming and gave us good tips on things to do.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Beach. Easy walk to restaurant and beach very peaceful and friendly. Would come again.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.

We had such a lovely stay at Deb’s apartment! It was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. It was beautifully laid out, very comfortable, spacious kitchen and the proximity to the beach was ideal. The space was family friendly, and we felt very at home.
