We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

Staying at this place for a couple of months, feels like my home away from home. Living room, kitchen and bathroom are all great. Bobbie responds quickly to any requests with good information.

I booked on behalf of work colleagues and they had a very comfortable stay. Thanks for the prompt communication and wonderful home for the guys to relax in after work.

Back again! It’s a great place with incredible views out to the Barriers. Simple but stylish with plenty of tools in the kitchen to knock up a great feed, and, the best slumber with the comfiest of beds. I reckon we’ll be back!

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

Great location close to the beach. But also a great place to hang around and relax with family and friends. The backyard has a lovely garden and plenty of room for the kids to run around, and the house is well equipped with just about everything you need. Would love to come back and stay again sometime. thanks!

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

We loved every minute of our stay at Nuku Cabin. Diane was so welcoming and made us feel totally at home. I loved all of the thoughtful detail she has gone to make our dog feel at home also, with supplying a doggy bowl, blanket and bed. The house was absolutely pristine and had everything we could possibly want. My family will definitely be back again.

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive. We will definitely be visiting again! Perfect family getaway :) 10/10 all round!

Thank you for sharing this amazing place with us. Great location - close to the beach, shops and cafe. Also close to many places to visit. Having well stocked kitchen with nice appliance and equipment was helpful. The outdoor area was greatly appreciated too - spa and pool, gas BBQ, wood fire pizza oven, bar table and stools, outdoor seating area, table with ambience fire, and deck chairs. The place looks exactly like the photos and it’s very well managed. I was there for 3 nights with my family, including elderly mother and kids and we had so much fun. So many things to do outside but lovely to spend time inside the house when it rained too. I strongly recommend this place.

Upmarket accommodation in a great location. We loved the espresso machine for a coffee first thing in the morning; and the spa later in the day. Laurence is a very responsive host and clearly wants to make sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. We'd look to stay here again in future.

We were hosting friends in Matakana and stayed at Katie's gorgeous home for a week. It is fabulous for a group - great communal space, comfortable quiet bedrooms, beautiful outdoor space. The house is in walking distance of everything in Matakana Village making visiting cafes, shops and restaurants very easy, however the best nights are cooking food from the local farmers market at the house. Would happily return.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

The hosts of Songbird Cottage have gone to a lot of trouble to make this place special. So many lovely features, both inside the cottage and around the grounds. One of the best instructions manuals we have encountered, including lots of great recommendations for local walks, attractions and eateries. Top marks.

Such a stunning spot. Tea’s place was everything we were hoping for and more. We just loved the vibe of the space for endless rounds of cards and snuggling up at night, listening to the roar of the sea. The perfect spot for connecting with family and faves.

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable stay in a peaceful spot! Lounge area and bedrooms had lots of space. Was a perfect home to stay with children. Jenny was easy to communicate with and had left thoughtful arrival treats for Easter 😌 Would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay! Despite being quite a rainy weekend. The standout features of the cabins were the personalised touches, and fully equipped kitchen - we were able to cook a complete roast dinner to enjoy with wine out on the deck surrounded by absolute serenity. The hot outdoor bath was such a luxury - Carol (host) gave us rose petals & rosemary to add to the bath. Carol was very caring making sure we were comfortable & warm, while equally giving us privacy during our stay. Recommend!
