Located only 25 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 30 minutes from Cathedral Caverns State Park, your bnb is a blend of serenity and proximity. Please note: this private lake is for trolling motors and paddles only, no gas powered motors permitted

Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville.

The suite is located in South Huntsville area. It is spacious and cozy, perfect for a comfortable stay. Centrally located and in close proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway or a business trip. Book now and experience the comfort and convenience of this modern in-law suite! For your knowledge, I do have three dogs. They are friendly and not aggressive to people. If you have a fear of dogs, you may want to book somewhere else.

Under 10 minutes to BridgeStreet, Research Park, Town Madison (Trash Pandas), Space&Rocket Center, Mid City (Orion Amphitheater), HSV Airport and more. 2 beds, 2 baths and a couch offer space for up to 4 guests. We cannot accomodate early check-in or late check-out. Please know check-in starts at 3p, check-out is a firm 10a, no exceptions. Up to 4 guests allowed, no more. Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Freshly painted, newly renovated, and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping! Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
