Amazing Summer Holiday and Mountain Retreat

Welcome to our beloved Mountain home. Located at Whitetail resort you can walk to the slopes and enjoy the après ski in our beautiful cozy house with cabin feel. Perfect ski holiday, weekend getaway, or place to work remotely with high-speed internet. Only 1.5 hours from DC & Baltimore. This is the perfect place to escape the city, connect with nature and recharge. A place to build up fond memories. All season adventures, enjoy skiing, swimming, hiking, golfing, fishing, lakes and local farms.

The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Cozy West Virginia Treehouse

Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our Shangri La is located above Prospect Overlook. National Geographic Magazine rated Prospect Overlook as one of the five best in the East. Views include three states: Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia; and two rivers, the Potomac and Cacapon. Our Shangri La is 3 miles from the town of quaint town of Berkeley Springs, 9 miles from the picturesque Cacapon State Park and Cacapon Resort and golf (Robert Trent Jones masterpiece).

Welcome to Almost Heaven Cabin, our beloved A-frame escape tucked away on a private, wooded acre in the heart of the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management area. Surrounded by 23,000 acres of protected wilderness, this cabin was created as a peaceful family retreat from city life-yet it's just a scenic 1.5-hour drive from DC and Baltimore. Expect quiet mornings, fresh mountain air, and a true West Virginia getaway.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

Waterfront Cabin on the Potomac River w/ Hot tub

Our Cabin is located right on the Potomac River. Walk right down and sit right in it. Sleeps 5 people. It has 2 balconies facing the water & brings such peace and serenity. Read a book? Take a nap? Have some wine? At this location, it's the perfect depth to swim, float, kayak, wade fish & more. Also facing the River is a private Hot tub Outdoor Pavillion w/ Gas Grill, Fridge, Sink, Seating, Fire pit, & more.

We considered calling this house “The View With Some Rooms,” but settled on The Lodge. This private 3-bedroom house includes a rooftop dome (which serves as the third bedroom). From almost every spot, enjoy the jaw-dropping scenery of endless mountains, three states, and the Potomac River. Camp Potomac Peak was recently (Nov 2024) named the best place to stay in the Eastern Panhandle by WV Living Magazine.

A restored 1700's log cabin in a convenient location to Shepherdstown and surrounding attractions. One bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed. One pull out sofa in the downstairs living area. In the summer of 2018, we have added an intimate brick patio area suitable for alfresco dining and for fireside sitting. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. You will not want to leave.
