Quaint duplex apartment in the countryside

Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

The house is located at about 1000 m above sea level and is in a very quiet location. You have a wonderful view of the Sihlsee. The nearby forest offers a lot to discover. The nearby Hochybrig ski and hiking area can be reached in about 12 minutes by car. Other places to visit are described at the property. The pilgrimage of Einsiedeln with its world-famous monastery is close by. Note: The price now includes the Airbnb service fee of around 16.5%.

The beautiful lodging is combined with an older farmhouse, which is located more remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with views of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquillity, as a leisure activity there are many places of interest and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer - King of the Pre-Alps. If the weather is fine, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Lake Constance.

It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

With beautiful views of the St. Galler Rhine Valley and all around the beautiful mountain scenery. Ground floor: kitchen with wood-burning stove for heating, large living room, terrace and entrance. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms and bathroom with shower and washing machine. 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms.

In spring and autumn you can go hiking in the nearby mountains.
