Cabin holiday rentals in Winchester

This was really a beautiful place, it is looked brand new inside and they had a great amount of supplies, everything you would need for a great stay. We gathered in the family room, loved the huge kitchen and high end appliances, and really enjoyed the hut tub, fire pit, pool table, and views. Just a super place at the top of the hill. We stayed for my wife's 60th birthday and had a great experience.

We loved staying here for a long weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday. The manager, Christy, was great to work with. We enjoyed the hot tub and grilling steaks at the stone and hiking nearby. Definitely planning to come back to this spot at some point for more!

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful cabin in the woods weekend escape to take with our toddler. Most places are either tailored to couples or are too kid focused with sensory overload. The coalmont was the perfect middle ground. Total peace and serenity but plenty on the property for our baby toddler to do and explore. Definitely hope to come back.

First of all Shelia was there to let us in and show us around to make sure she answered all of our questions and knew where everything was. Shelia is so kind and her cabin was so beautiful and cozy. The surprise was having coffee in the morning at the end of the little trail in the back. My kids had a blast blazing a trail though the dry creek bed and s'mores by the fire. The cabin has a surprise around every corner. Wonderful place to vacation.

Our family of 5 loved staying at Amazing Grace! The location on the water was absolutely perfect and peaceful. My kids, 9, 6, and 4, spent hours skipping rocks as we watched from the deck. The king and queen beds were some of the most comfy we've ever slept in on a trip. The kids loved the loft area. The nearby hikes were gorgeous and we loved coming back to grill out and have some hot tub time! We will be back!

It was exactly what I was looking for. The. Idea are stunning and loved that the hot tub was in a perfect place so you can still see the mountains and water. We all had enough space to move around without being on top of each other

Wow!! The perfect honeymoon getaway for my new husband and I. This was my first time booking an Airbnb and it was super easy. Michael’s instructions on how to get in and get settled were so detailed but not too complicated. The cabin was so clean, so private, and not far from good food and activities. The beds were so comfy and the natural sunlight from the giant windows and skylights were so nice to wake up to. My husband and I were so excited when we pulled up to the cabin. Such an incredible stay!

Nice place. Not as private as expected. 50 yards off a fairly busy road! Heard more trucks and off road vehicles than I did nature. Has an amazing little hit tub if you don’t mind the neighbors and the owners of the property watching every single move you make. I believe in security but they got a camera on you every way you can think of one even points inside the cabin from the porch. So stay aware you are being watched when all you wanted was a peaceful weekend. Who can relax when you have at least 5 cameras pointed at you at all time

A perfect retreat for my wife, our daughter, and me after the Thanksgiving rush. So homey, peaceful, and quiet, with just the right amount of kitsch. Comfy beds, beautiful setting, cozy furnishings, everything we needed to unwind. This unit is a surprisingly roomy two bedroom (king bed and bunk beds) with a full bath and spacious living room/kitchen combo. We’d love to come back when it’s warm enough to be outside, but the 20 degree temps kept us inside and toasty, watching tv, playing games, reading, etc. We highly recommend!

Fantastic space and Michael was a great, responsive host. Highly recommend for anyone on a fishing trip or just who want to enjoy the river!

Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. Nice quiet and private area with local restaurants close by. The 11:00 checkout was very helpful and allowed a more relaxed final day.

Very lovely cabin. Actually looked better in person than it did in the photos. The hosts were very responsive and attentive. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and cooking supplies. We loved the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. Only downfalls were a good bit of the dishes that were put away were not cleaned, but you are expected to load those into the dishwasher yourself. My assumption is that previous guests did not rinse the dishes before running them through the wash and someone put them up after not checking them first. Not a huge deal. We can't speak much on the amenities offered at the cabin because we stayed during bad weather, but it was the perfect cabin for an unplugged weekend with just board games and food. Overall, it was a really great place to stay and we would personally go back.

Very nice and comfortable place!

Let me start by saying, the cabin was incredible. Felt like stepping back in time. Very well done. Our host even dropped off fresh baked cinnamon rolls and cake for us. Excellent surprise. Now the rest of the story… My wife and I chose this location to escape from the storms in mid TN. Weather reports looked decent. 1:00 in the morning we were woke up to tornado warnings and then it hit. Horrible experience and terrifying to be in a strange place during a tornado but, the cabin survived and kept us safe. Cindy the host was in immediate contact with us making sure we were safe and her husband came in person to check on us. Our terrible experience has nothing to do with the property or the host, both were beyond fantastic and for that alone deserve your business. We will definitely be back hopefully when the weather is better. Thank you Cindy for being a caring and wonderful person. Mostly thankful for the cabin that did its job and kept my wife and I safe.

Glen and Lindsey were such great hosts—they gave really clear instructions and were proactive about anticipating our needs. House was just what we needed for a conference in town, but would also be great as a vacation spot!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The host left a binder that answered our every question, even the most minute detail! And if there was a question that we had to ask our host directly, it would be answered in less than 5 minutes. The cabin was also very clean! And despite the fact that we went during the winter season, we were still able to enjoy ourselves with the games, fishing rods and other things left for us. The environment was also very peaceful with little to no disturbances. All in all, we fully plan to come back to this lovely abode!

A beautiful and peaceful location with lots of space including indoor and outdoor living. There were plenty of games and sports equipment for kids to use and everything was well stocked. The cabin is as advertised and exactly what we were looking for!

The cabin was just as advertised. The Broken Banjo campground is clean, very walkable, and has showers and restrooms within short distance of the cabins. The bathroom at Cabins 5 and 6 share a bathroom which is nice, because only two cabins share the restroom, though a few RVers wandered in them every once in a while. The park is right off the highway, so not totally serene or peaceful, but the further into the park, the quieter it became. There’s a play area for kids, dogs and adults too! It was nice that there’s a Starbucks down the street and other restaurants and retail shops like Walmart in case you need to pick something up. We arrived very late, around 10pm and our envelope with instructions awaited us. Easy check in process, even though our messages on AirBnB app weren’t answered, it’s all good. We love the decor and overall retro theme, thanks for having us!! Would definitely return!

This is a SPECIAL place! The Kingfisher Cabin is beautiful inside and out. A lot of care has been put into making this space perfect for spending quality time with family and friends in one of the most stunning natural settings in the Southeast. The short drive from Chattanooga began the decompression as we wound slowly through the river gorge. We found the cabin itself very private and cozy inside with lots of natural light, comfortable furniture, a great bluetooth speaker at the ready, and original art highlighting the natural beauty all around us. All the details are ready for fun and relaxation: the partially-covered porch, the flat backyard (great for playing games), the fire pit stocked with wood, the hammock and swing, and the swimming dock allowed everyone to fully enjoy the setting in their own way. The unspoiled viewshed and constant wildlife sightings made us feel like we were in a far-off place. My family and I will absolutely return, but for a longer stay next time!

This cabin was absolutely amazing!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The back porch was where we spent the majority of the time. We loved how quiet and secluded we felt. Tim left really great instructions and was very open and honest.

3 Bedrooms plus loft beds and 3 baths made this a great weekend stay for 3 couples and a single. the walk way outside is uneven rock and the stairs inside were larger spaced steps.

We had an amazing time at Jacob’s Airbnb. We brought along our toddlers and two small dogs- it was the perfect place to relax as a family. The gated and fenced back yard made the stay worry free with pets and children. Views were amazing and the house was very clean. Highly recommend- we will be back!
