Excellent place in brilliant location. The flat looks bigger and better than expected in the pictures.

Super in communicating, place is spotless, fun authentic and cosy interior/architecture. Not Ikea thankfully. Also comfortable tv, kitchen and couch. Matress itself looks new and is good, but bed in secondary room is in my opinion a bit short for an adult male over 6ft, if you are a back sleeper. Would advice this apartment for parents with children or shorter adults. Curtains are ok, but let in some light in the morning. would choose totally blacked out curtains, but as you might have guessed I am a bit of a hard sleeper. That’s why still rate 5 stars.

An Easter Break at The Beehive ,Grasmere. From clear communication & instruction, The Beehive was a perfect place to spend the Easter Break in the Lake District. Accurate description, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle of wine and a lovely fruit cake on arrival . The decor was lovely throughout & the apartment had everything we needed during our stay. The views from the communal garden space were lovely & an easy walk into Grasmere took us to some lovely eateries . Really enjoyed the Distillery & The Swan Hotel . Rather than use the car we hopped on & off the regular 555 & 599 buses to Ambleside, Keswick . They were so easy & cheap too. With a flexible check in & out and great communication we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will surely return . Thanks

really excellent apartment with a stunning balcony and views. we loved the sunset and the great atmospheric lights on the balcony. It is a huge apartment with very comfortable beds. great clean kitchen and terrific bathroom. Totally clean with plenty towels and warm. The parking was perfect and key entrance was easy. lovely communication. we will definitely go back to apartment 3. highly recommended and a great location for a stroll to the restaurants and bars.

We had a great stay at Irina's apartment. We arrived by train and it was easy to walk to the apartment. It is in a central location with easy access to nearby attractions like Kendal Castle. It was easy to catch buses to Ambleside and Grasmere for hiking and touristic excursions. We would definitely recommend Irina's place for a trip to the lake district.

Superb location and the perfect base for exploring the area. I only wish I had more time to enjoy Cate’s place and its beautiful surroundings—it all looked absolutely stunning. I had a quiet coffee outside one morning before heading home, and it was incredibly peaceful. Inside, everything was just as expected and fully equipped. Cate also left me some of the best brownies and cookies I’ve ever eaten—such a thoughtful touch!

A great private space within easy reach of the centre of town. Ideal for us to use as a base for our stay. Fantastic sofa/TV area to relax after a busy day out and about. Close to the centre of town within a 5 minute walk but quiet also with lovely views to the hilltops front and back. Graham and his family made us feel very welcome. We would love to return one day.

wonderful. easy to get too. was a last minute due to the one we originally had booked cancelled on us due to being booked up. had everything we could possibly need if we needed it. ideal location, the agricultural inn is a minutes walk away and has great food and is dog friendly.

The Parsonage is just perfect, a really lovely apartment, fantastically equipped with all you need and more, with lovely touches like the roll top bath in the bedroom and the private courtyard that opens out off the bedroom, safe and secure for our dog. The Parsonage is ideally located right next door to Kendal Castle, great walks and beautiful views of Kendal. It’s also just a 10 minute walk into Kendal with plenty of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food and dog friendly too. Patrina is a wonderful host, the special treats left in the fridge were very kind and appreciated, her advice to jump on the bus to Rydal Water and have lunch at the Badger Bar made for the best day out with our dog. It all made for a perfect stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Our stay was excellent. The host Fenella-Scarlet was exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. We particularly loved the stylish decor, which added a really nice touch. The property was clean and fully equipped with all the amenities listed, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely place to stay. Beautiful scenery and in a great area. Kim was helpful and friendly, would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights but could have stayed the whole month. Indoors, this cozy apartment has everything one needs and outdoors is a heaven for walkers and hikers. Free parking is a bonus. The bus stop is just around the corner and so handy for quick visits to the other parts of the lakes. Will recommend to friends

Andri is an excellent host! She gave us the warmest of welcomes, got the fire started and allowed us to drop our things before the apartment was ready. Everything was as described and left clean and tidy for us. Before we got there she sent clear, easy to follow directions and had lots of recommendations for local walks and pubs. Her place was very dog friendly too! We had a lovely time.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Appleby. Modern with everything you need for a short break and nice little touches with tea/coffee, cotton wool pads etc. The only slight complaint is the double bed is two single mattresses together and the ridge was noticeable but this wouldn’t stop us staying again. Great stay

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

This is a charming old place with the character and essentials as if someone still lives there. Very, very clean and tidy. It is set in a beautiful outerskirts area of Bowness with only a short walk to the busy centre. This will suit someone who wants a very peaceful and quiet getaway in a stunning location yet close to the township as an option.

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

Great stay at Raluca's place. Her communication was great from the outset, responding promptly to questions and providing lots of local recommendations. The place was perfect for our stay and the kids had a great time. The swimming pool and play areas were excellent and the toys in the apartment were a real bonus. Would happily stay here again for a family break.
