Thornbeck Cottage is a traditional 2 bedroom slate cottage in the heart of Windermere. It is perfectly located between the villages of Bowness on Windermere and Windermere, a short ten minute stroll either way to all of the local amenities and the lake. Nearest pub 5 minutes walk, various bars restaurants shops within ten minute walk. Train station in Windermere 15 minute walk. There is a front and rear garden which has a patio and stream. The Dales way and other walks are within ten minutes.

The apartment is a recent creation in a building occupied by a weaving business at the turn of the last century run by a lady designer named Annie Garnet. The apartment is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with a modern kitchen and shower room. The apartment is on the ground floor and has an opening 'Juliet' balcony facing towards the lake. Stroll down to the lake to sit and unwind, walk up onto the Common for amazing views, or explore the lake and island by canoe.
