Relax in this 2 story renovated schoolhouse. Basically new build with all the charm and many historical facts of the schoolhouse. Full kitchen includes everything needed for cooking. Expandable dining table can seat 1O and open concept dining, living and kitchen. It has a king bedroom on the upper level with full bath. In the basement a queen bedroom and full bath, then a bunk area for 3 in the tv area that also includes a pullout queen sofa. Enjoy the huge deck, farmland view, and walking path.

Heavenly Nest Getaway

Beautiful, cozy space with abundant natural light! We designed this getaway with relaxation and comfort in mind! An upstairs apartment in downtown Decorah. The large living room has the comfort of an electric fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi and lots of natural light. A dining room that will seat 6, a galley kitchen and the comfort of the den with a sofa sleeper that makes into a queen bed and a glider rocker. The bedroom has a TV, queen size bed and much comfort. Bathroom is a full bath. Pack and play.

Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This log home, located on 6.5 acres, offers a few days away from the hustle of everyday life. The loft is where the master bed and bath are located. The second bedroom / bath are located on the first floor. The unfinished basement offers an area to workout on the elliptical machine and weight bench. Relax during the evening hours on the back patio, gathered around the fire pit. TV's are located in the living room, basement, and kitchen.
