In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15 per person.

Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a vacation park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018, it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and floor heating. The best thing is that it is in the middle of the trees. All the freedom on our own 1100m2 property! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Beautiful private studio, with private entrance and bathroom in a thatched farmhouse is located in/near the city center. From here you can make the most beautiful routes. Forest heath is within walking distance. Space to store and charge the bikes. In the village there are all amenities, supermarket, bakery and terraces. Next to the studio has an outdoor space with lounge chairs. Double induction hob, fridge, microwave, coffee, tea. Dog welcome. Private gated outdoor area.

It is a former Sunday school, located behind the church of a small village in Drenthe. It is furnished as a fully-fledged guest house and can be rented for a minimum of one weekend, maximum of 3 weeks. It is furnished for two people. It is right on the edge of the forest, you can immediately enter a forest from the cottage, with great hiking opportunities, both for the walk around the nearby lake+partner as well as for a sporty walk. The cottage is non-smoking.

As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. Located between the Gees forestry and the Mantingerveld, with unobstructed views over farmlands. Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.

Welcome! Bed &Breakfast 'Mekelermeer' is a nice stay for 2 persons included breakfast. ckeck in is after 14.00 h. check out is round 12.00 h. 2 nights is the minimum stay. The interior is very cosy. You have a marvellous vue over garden and fields. There is hardly any traffic. Only some farmer business. A perfect place to 'slow down' .
