It was a beautiful cottage and we enjoyed our stay very much. We really appreciated the snacks and other things laid out for us. We would definitely love to come back and stay again in the summer!

This cottage is perfect for a getaway. Clean. Real clean not the tidy clean some claim as clean. Pictures are correct. We loved that the cottage had a pier to tie up our boat. It’s in a channel about three lanes wide & you ‘parallel park’. The pier has poles not cleats to tie to. It’s our first boating season & we have been visiting different lakes & setups - thought this might be helpful to share. Our children loved the book selection, the foldable stool, & the “bar” island table. We had a great time fishing on the lake during our stay - the water was so clear! Speaking of water, yes, the cottage’s water has a sulphur smell which is typical of Indiana but taste is fine (cooking, brushing teeth, etc.) Neighborhood was quiet in the fall when we stayed. The neighbors were kind & friendly. We felt welcomed by Nicholas, his information, & the amenities (basic spices, towels, utensils, tp, handsoaps, etc.) We would rent again.

I’ve stayed in the carriage house multiple times while visiting Fort Wayne. I usually stay in town an extra day or two just to have more time in this Airbnb. It is adorable, comfortable, and in a good location. The hosts are so genuinely friendly and welcoming. I wish there was a place like this everywhere I travel. I really don’t want to stay anywhere else!

Such a serene & peaceful cottage! Perfect for an anniversary getaway! While the cottage could sleep a larger family easily, we found the place perfectly cozy for the 2 of us. The natural fireplace added so much to the ambiance! The very clean cottage provided everything we needed for my husband & I to enjoy a lovely time away. We also noticed that the hosts went above & beyond to stock all you might need if traveling with children or your dog. Their communication was excellent! We didn’t venture far from the cottage, but that was our plan. Nice place to get in a good walk with the hilly road. The stairs to the lake were sturdy, but it is steep as they clearly state. Being able take in the lake views from the gorgeous upper deck on the comfortable outdoor couch was a highlight! (The afternoon sun was so inviting!) We wish the weather could’ve been nicer to enjoy the kayaks/paddleboat more… and also the fire pit…maybe next time. :) Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was my second time and definitely not the last time I’ve stayed here. 5 minutes from boat launch on Webster. 15 minutes from numerous lakes. Jim is very responsive and easy to talk to. The house is tucked into a very quiet area. Neighbors are friendly as well.

Wonderful place to stay at for the weekend! We had gloomy weather, so we weren’t able to enjoy getting outdoors, but it was so peaceful so we just curled up with a good book! Make sure you check out nearby Dygert Nature Preserve! There was a break in the rain and we made good use of it by stretching our legs on this short hike!

What a wonderful and helpful host. She thought of everything and left us special touches for our Thanksgiving dinner. The home is beautiful, warm, and cozy. Absolutely loved it there
