Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. Formerly The Ullswater View Guest House has been transformed to a stylish self catering accomodation. Perfect for groups and families. The property is has amazing views of Ullswater and surrounding fells. Situated in the hamlet of Watermillock, five miles from Glenridding and three miles from Pooley Bridge. Easy linked to the beautiful gem town of Cockermouth, cultural Keswick, and bustling Carlisle as we are just off the main A road.

Wythop School, Lake District

Located in the Lake District National Park on the coast to coast cycle route, Wythop School sits on the side of Ling Fell with views towards Bassenthwaite Lake. The old village school has been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests. The village has a pub and hotel offering good food and real ale. All other amenities (supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, museums etc) can be found in Cockermouth, a 4 mile drive away.

Watch the newborn lambs being born in springtime and listen to the beautiful birds all year round.
