Our idyllic cottage from 1730 is located in the middle of the old village center of Wilkenburg (Hemmingen), surrounded by a nature reserve. A breathtaking swimming lake (100 m) and many paths into nature are just a stone's throw away. The city center of Hanover, the Maschsee and the Hanover trade fair can be reached in a 5-10 minute drive. Hanover main station: 8.5 km, airport: 30 km Trade fair: 5.5 km A small country bakery and a private horse farm are just around the corner.

The apartment is only 250 meters from Lake Steinhude and is located directly on the Lake Steinhude circular path.

Very close to the Mariensee Abbey, which is situated on the River Leine, we offer a guest house with a view of the Leine. The old ferry house in Basse forms the foundation of the estate. The country garden, with its pool and wooden terrace, brings everything together to create a unique space where you can simply relax. The apartment (75 m²) is on the 2nd floor of a two-family house and has two bedrooms, a large living/dining area, a bathroom with bathtub and a large balcony with direct views of the sea and the beautiful garden. The bedrooms have a 1.60 x 2 m and 1.40 x 2 m bed. The living room is comfortably furnished. A washing machine and dryer are available, the kitchen is well equipped.
