great view of the ocean from a smallish balcony, room was clean and comfy, the location is a bit isolated in term of shops and restaurants which makes it a quiet place to stay in, host was very friendly and helpful who also cooked good breakfasts!!!

This is my second time staying at this place. Hosts are very friendly and offer a great number of activity options that can be done during the day. Accommodation is good. Nice and quiet. Convenient stores are within walking distances.

The location, the environment is amazing, the terrace has an excellent view, you can see a whole piece of the Pacific Ocean, and you are lucky enough to admire the fireworks of Hualien Harbor on New Year's Eve!The room is tidy and cozy, and the owner is also welcoming and attentive, and I hope to visit again.

Nostalgic stay as time stood still. Wake up, walk, eat, spa and repeat. Friendly neighbourhood and very understanding host. Enjoyed the simple breakfast and fresh air.

Really cool area with lots of history. Unfortunately it is kind of on the decline, lots of abandoned buildings. Really beautiful area and the hot springs is relaxing after a day of hiking. For parking, I wouldn’t drive up the hill, park at the bottom and walk up.

This place is one of a kind ! The whole family is so nice and caring, sensitive human beings with big hearts. We discovered this beautiful village also through the food. We had amazing breakfasts and dinners. Everything comes from their land and is pure joy. If you are not already vegetarians, you will want to switch. Rooms are nice and clean with art books around. Hiking around the village is a must and puts you back in shape. What a memorable stay. Will remember it for a long time. Big hugs to the whole family !

Our stay was very nice! We were warmly welcomed and had a special opportunity to learn a lot about the life and culture of the locals. We also felt well taken care of and safe during the typhoon. The place was comfortable, clean, and perfectly appointed – exactly as described.
