Chris's house was perfect for a weekend getaway, offering a great location for fishing in the Yankton area and a relaxing stay at the house. The place is very close to town if you need anything, and Chris checked in daily to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Chris! I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay at the cardinal house. Great location RIGHT across from the entrance to Lewis and Clark recreation area. Charming, cozy home with great spaces to accommodate 5 or 6 people. Easy to find, beautiful surroundings.

The View Alone is Worth the Stay

Love the floor-to-ceiling windows and the amazing view of Lewis and Clark lake! Curtains on the windows would have been preferred. We use towels to cover them up while showering. The fire pit was nice with plenty of wood to burn and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for letting us stay.

This was really an amazing place. It was very peaceful and quiet. We were able to get the whole family together for a very memorable few days. We went for walks on the many trails once or twice a day. We prepared meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and ate on the large deck, which provided great views of the valley and lake. At the end of our visit, I asked my four-year old granddaughter if she was ready to go home, and she said, "No, i want to stay here for 10 more years!" Everyone had that sentiment. I don't think we can swing 10 years of rental, but we will be back soon.

Our group of hunters have stayed at the Lake House for a couple years. It is everything we need. Comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms, and living areas that inspire story telling. The garage is perfect for our gear. We are excited staying here again next year! Jennifer is friendly, she responds to texts quickly and is very friendly! I can't wait to stay at the Lake House next year!

The Ridge is absolutely spectacular. It is a comforting, yet luxurious at the same time. Such a great layout for families to come together yet sleep comfortably. The views are absolutely gorgeous. The host was very helpful in preparation prior to arrival, during and after. Will definitely be back and recommend to my family and friends.

Lindsay’s place is a cozy gem tucked away, but near the lake and not a bad drive to town. It’s nothing fancy, but has everything you need. Lindsay was a responsive and helpful host. We will be back!

We had a great time. Beautiful home. Peaceful location. It’s right outside of Yankton so it’s quiet but still close enough to run into town if you need to grab something. The hot tub was a big hit for everyone that stayed. We spent most of our time on the back patio and is perfect for gatherings.

You get exactly what she lists. She communicates well. Beds are comfy. Ample dishes. The in garage parking makes loading and unloading a breeze. Ample space for everyone. Very clean. Lots of hot water. Washer and dryer a huge plus. Great space for outside activities. Easy to find. Short drive to town. We will be back for certain!!!
